We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is clean, staff are pleasant and it's in an area with many shops and conveniences. However, we really disliked their "No Guests Policy", which is why I cannot give it 5 stars. I understand not allowing overnight guests, but I don't think it's acceptable for a hotel to stop you from having guests in your room for a few hours. As long as you're not damaging the property or being too loud, I think hotels should let you enjoy the room that you paid for as you see fit without enforcing infantilizing policies. They inform you of this policy upon check-in, but at that point what choice do you have, really?

This hotel was in a great location, and we had a very nice large room and an excellent large buffet breakfast. The hotel and our room actually looked better in person than the photos we saw on the website. Given the location and the quality of the hotel and the room and breakfast, the price was not expensive. Would be happy to stay here again.

Really elegant city hotel in the middle of San Jose. Walking distance to the National Museum. Shout out to Daniel at the front desk, who was exceptionally helpful in getting us to and from the airport.
Note: the airport transfer is not free, it is $45 each way. We were unaware of this and might have chosen a different hotel if we had known.
There is no gym or pool, as you might expect from a city hotel. This was fine with us as we were just stopping for one night in transition.

Chic hotel in the downtown area. Great showers, very comfortable beds, tasty breakfast. Extremely helpful front staff.

We didn’t enjoy our stay. The lobby and the employees were nice. However the rooms are in desperate need of an upgrade. The bed and pillows were not comfortable. Also the bathroom was outdated, the faucet sprayed all over and the closet was missing a door. We expected more from the hotel and wish we would have stayed somewhere else.

We really liked the unique vibe of the hotel's decor; the breakfast buffet was excellent; and the location was central and well located for our one-day stop in San Jose before our flight out.

An elegant hotel in the heart of downtown, proximate to shops and restaurants, with a professional and courteous staff, safe secure parking, and clean comfy rooms.

The breakfast was delicious. Even the dining room was artfully decorated. There was a secure parking next to the lobby. We loved the welcome platter with fruits and local desserts.
