Very friendly and helpful hosts. Helped with local trip reservations and even finding a mechanic. Very clean, excellent conditions for the price

The owners of Casa Sirius were wonderful people, and I'm thankful for their hospitality. Normally I wouldn't leave a bad review for a family run establishment, especially as lovely as this family, but the other reviews felt so misleading that I thought I would share my POV. If I were only using this hostel for sleep, the price would make it worth it. Unfortunately I got food poisoning (potentially from the breakfast but can't be sure), and had to spend my entire time in San Pedro trapped in my barren room. The bathroom window looked into the courtyard and was missing some pains of glass, making is awkward to go cause I was sick. There were no fans or air conditioning, and my only window was next to the family's door so I was kept up till late with noises from them and their dogs. There was only beds and a fridge, and I wasn't allowed to put my luggage on the beds. It was as far away from town as could be (25-30min walk on mostly dirt roads), which made it hard to get supplies to feel better. This is a good accommodation if you're on an extreme budget because San Pedro is very expensive, but I regret not spending more money for something a little nicer.

The owner of the place is very helpful in organizing the trips as he himself is the organizer of the sky-watching tours. He is very happy to assist to give advice, so the stay is as pleasant as possible. This was the case with my visit. In addition, the experience facilitates understanding the way of life in the area as in fact one feels like staying with the family, as there is only 4 rooms managed.

¡Perfecto! Tote y Deysi son personas muy amables, ¡mi estadía fue increíble! Desde recepción hasta cuando me ayudaron cuando pensé que había perdido mis documentos. Habitación muy limpia, fresca y gran desayuno. Tote y Deysi, ¡gracias por todo!

Buscábamos bien servicio al mejor precio posible y, tanto Deysi como Tote, hicieron que el servicio sea excelente. Por un accidente requerimos asistencia médica y ellos nos ayudaron con traslados, muletas, etc.

Quartos limpos, ducha com água quente, cama confortável, espaço para organizar mala, silencioso, com boa calefação. Fica um pouco afastado do centro, mas estávamos de carro e foi tranquilo. Café da manhã bom. Agora o ponto alto é o acolhimento da Deise e do Toty, muito atenciosos, prestativos, nos atenderam em todas as solicitações.

A estrutura é simples, porém aconchegante e com tudo que precisamos. É um pouco afastado do centro, mas há algumas opções de mercados e restaurantes (bem mais em conta) próximos e uma vista privilegiada do vulcão Licancabur. A hospitalidade dos donos (Toti e Deysi) fizeram toda a diferença na nossa viagem de 10 dias: desde o preparo do café da manhã, até indicações de passeios para nós com desconto. Nos permitiram vivenciar o dia a dia real das pessoas que vivem na cidade, até participamos de confraternizações com eles na área comum da casa. À parte, eles também oferem uma experiência astronômica muito bacana.

A simpatia dos proprietários ameniza qualquer aspecto desfavorável; a distância ao centro de SPA é um pouco incômoda.
