Wonderful host and staff. This was our second time staying here and everything was awesome. Best sunrise and sunset on the Caye! Condos and site are kept very clean and pristine. Location is perfect, many dining places within walking distance. Be sure to check out Hurricanes for dinner or a day of lounging in the Caribbean. We will definitely be going back.

Casa del Rai Guest House is the place to stay. Being south of the bridge on Ambergris Caye, it's super easy to walk to many activities: over water restaurants/bars, artisan market, and town. We have stayed three times now - 2021, 2023 & 2024 - each two weeks at a time. The owners and housekeeper live on the main level. There is also a person who comes daily to work in the building. All of the individuals are trust worthy and so friendly. The gated entry, which is locked each evening, adds a layer of comfort & security. Golf carts are available to rent and are in good working order and nice to have on hand to rent daily or weekly basis. Costs are similar to rent from other spots. Each condo available has a table & chairs on an outdoor patio - the 4th floor gets to see the sunrise, but roof access is available for all to see. The sunset available on the pool level is beautiful. The pool on the roof is great, along with the bar/hut and lounge chairs. Our crew has used the pool many times! The internet connection has no issues. You can keep up on work if needed. A full kitchen includes a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, and stove/oven (rarely used! ;-). A veggie stand and bakery across the street are super convenient. A perfect home away from home! We've stayed in Citrus (2-bedroom) and Teal (1-bedroom) - both on the 4th floor.

You can't go wrong with Casa Del Rai. The location is convenient to everything in town. We stayed in the three bedroom unit and it had everything we needed for a great stay. The rooftop pool and deck were amazing with great views and a refrigerator to keep your drinks chilled. Aileen and Randy, as well as the staff were always on hand to answer questions or just have a friendly conversation. We highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed. We've been all over the Caribbean and Central America and the people here rank at the top for friendliness.

Randy and Aileen were amazing hosts. They were always eager to answer all our questions, gave us some great recommendations, and made us feel at home in San Pedro. Leticia, our housekeeper and Pablo who takes care of the building went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and also gave us some great recommendations. This place is a gem. Right within the local community, but just a block from the beach, you can find many inexpensive Belizean restaurants or more expensive, but still quite reasonable restaurants catering to tourists. Their golf cart rentals were cheaper than other places we looked and also had the best prices on excursions. We travelled as a family of four from Vermont and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We can't recommend this place enough

We stayed here for 8 nights in November. Highly recommend this place. Our apartment was clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable bed. We were up on the 3rd floor, so a bit of stairs to climb, but one floor up from us is the rooftop patio and pool. The views are amazing from here. We spent a lot of time of there during the rainy days. The hosts, Randy and Aileen, are wonderful people. Turns out we are from the same area in Canada, and had some lovely chats with them. Their staff are also great people and very helpful. The location is great, steps to the beach, and within walking distance of great restaurants and pubs. We rented a cart from them and had parking within the gated compound. It really felt like home for the time we were there!

Just returned from a 5 night stay at Casa Del Rai and wow, just wow!! Our two bedroom suite was absolutely perfect. Location is right in town and within walking distance of great restaurants. The rooftop pool/palapa/ outdoor space was beyond incredible!!! You have the best views. We rented a golf cart through them as well and it was one of the best rental carts we've had ~ price was great too! The host, Aileen, greeted us after she sent someone to pick us up at the airport. Aileen and Randy were the nicest and friendliest hosts ~ very responsive prior to our arrival too. There's even a pet turtle on property who we became very fond of!! This was our 6th trip to San Pedro and Casa Del Rai has to be one of the best places we've staved. Without question, we would book here again ~ you just can’t beat that rooftop pool!!

The appartment was better than the pictures! It was beautiful, clearn, amazing roof top pool, lovely staff/management and great area. We had a lovely time here, and would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much.

Loved Casa Del Rai and our stay there. Randy and Aileen are fantastic owners and hosts and keep the place in spotless condition. Everything is super clean and well kept up. It feels like it's a brand new building as Randy has people always painting, cleaning, and performing maintenance. The suite was perfect with two-bedrooms and a living area and kitchen, all clean, well-laid out, and super comfortable and a nice sitting area outside. Fully air conditioned and wifi as well. The rooftop pool and patio area is shared space but as it's only a 5 suite building, it's not crowded and has amazing 360 degree views. It has a few loungers to hang out in as well as a covered bar area with a wind-screen that pulls down if the breeze picks up or there is a rainshower. The location is great as there are multiple restaurants in walking distance if you don't feel like cooking, it's half a block to the ocean, and there is a bakery and places to get groceries right out the front door. We didn't rent a car and their staff, Byron came out to pick us up from the airport and took us back and we also had the convenience of being able to rent a golf cart from right on site on days we wanted to go do some further out exploring. Randy and Aileen are super responsive to messages and inquiries. We loved the place and will be back and bring friends as it would be super well-suited to coming with a group and renting all 5 suites. Plan in advance though as it seems that others enjoyed as much as we did and it gets booked up early! Thanks Randy and Aileen for keeping such nice accommodations and for making our trip so great.
