The staff is excellent and they are friendly and attentive. The food is decent and you are close to shopping. The property is a little worn out and needs a refresh. Otherwise great place to stay.

Beautiful space, clean and comfortable room, and friendly, accommodating staff. We were in a noisy room over where the Saturday night band was playing, and thankfully they were able to move us to a quieter room. The breakfast buffet was vegan friendly, we were glad for the soy milk too.

It was a terrible experience: we found two bedbugs in our room (in both of our beds) and decided to get away from this hotel as soon as possible. Management offered to move us to a better room but, since they all use the same laundry system, we decided this was not an option. On our way out, we saw a very suspicious bag containing some pink powder inside the elevator. This was immediately reported to the hotel staff. To summarize, it was a terrible experience.

Great hotel for business travel. Quality gym, sauna, and pool with a view on the 8th floor. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Eggs/omelettes made to order and a nice variety of other food. Only had drinks and pizza in the lobby bar. Pizza was average. Associates throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. Multiple restaurants and shopping within a few minutes drive. The only suggested improvement is for the hotel to purchase additional pool sticks. My colleagues and I played the first night with one broken stick and the second night there were no sticks available.

This property was beautiful and very well maintained! The staff was very courteous and helpful. It was within walking distance to shopping area that was 3 stories of stores!

If you're looking for a place to stay considering all; especially the cost to vacation in San José Costa Rica, this hotel is it. Extravagant views from the room balcony, clean, a lot of amenities (GREAT HAPPY HOUR), and last to mention the hospitality of staff was beyond professional.

After a long trip we ordered some room service,
We ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and specified a few times no chicken and no veggies. The girl on the phone confirmed with us a few times.
When the food showed up it had everything inside.
We called them to inform what happened and she confirmed that it’s being deducted from our bill. The next morning at checkout we tried confirming and the front desk had no idea , no note was made she even called two managers and they told us that it’s impossible to refund us.
Note, this is not about the $$ it’s about saying your going to do something and when it comes down to actually doing it it’s as if they never said anything .
Dishonest.
Besides for the fact that it’s super overpriced. The fish we ordered had a freezer taste and definitely not worth $30 USD!!
Non of the breakfast food was fresh.
Definitely not a 4 star hotel!

The hotel is very nice but the beds are uncomfortable and too hard. At night you can hear from your room the music from the disco bar on 8th floor (I was at level 4 so was really loud). The breakfast was good and service very good
