One thing you can't accuse Bed4U of is false advertising -- they do indeed offer you a bed, and it's a comfortable one. Our room, however, did not have a coffee/espresso maker, shampoo, or a blackout curtain, none of which are deal breakers, but I also would not classify them as luxury amenities, especially if, for example, they offer free coffee in the lobby (they don't). That said, our room was clean and we ended up with a nice patio, too -- although the rain prevented us from using it. The daytime front desk person, Catherine, was remarkably helpful and pointed us to a good breakfast.

Wonderful room! Quiet and clean. Friendly front desk staff who offered restaurant recommendations when asked. They held onto our luggage after we checked out so we could spend more time touring the city. Central location - close to Gros restaurants and Old Town and beach. Would definitely return!

The hotel is (or feels) brand new and the decor is simple yet nice and clean. No more, no less than what you need. The room is just as in the picture and very spacious. The towels are very fluffy. Lots of restaurants on the doorstep and around the corner. Super short walk to the beach and short walk to Old Town too. The staff is nice but could offer some suggestions for those visiting the first time to have an even better experience.

I know that it is no hotel, only hostal. BUT despite daily cleaning there was a lot of moldiness in the shower, the bathroom and the bedroom. Towels were tatty and holey. Even in a hostal I expect clean towels.

Myself and various members of family stayed here over a 3 week period while my husband was ill in hospital. Staff very caring and helpful. Very comfortable with relaxed place. Rooms spotless. Just a short taxi ride into town or to hospital. Very reasonable prices. If it hadn’t been such a traumatic time. Would have had a wonderful time. Highly recommend.

The room was clean and tidy in a property which was well-situated close to the older area of the city. The host was very helpful and explained everything we needed to know, including good breakfast recommendation. We had a good stay.

Very convenient location for everywhere in San Sebastian. Interior very modern and clean with very cheerful and helpful reception staff. Bedrooms are roomy with comfy beds and pillows, bathroom and shower very good. No English TV channels but who is in San Sebastian to watch the TV. Room A/C great Plenty of bars in the immediate vicinity should you have walked your feet off during the day and can't get far in the evening. 15 minute walk to the Bus station. One small gripe, would have preferred a room safe and a small fridge would have been nice but even so I recommend this hotel and would stay here again if returning to San Sebastian

Nice for a pension which is better than a hostel, more like a motel. Clean. Not as spacious as pictures make it look. Fine for 1-2 night stay. Convenient to walk to all the main areas. Do not recommend if you have a car. No parking. Construction going on right outside the building so noisy early in the morning.

This is a sweet little hotel. Very nicely located in Gros, close to everything. The rooms are large, updated, modern, functional and refreshingly minimalist. The desk staff is accommodating and thoughtful: they gave us cake when we were there, but I don't think this is the norm. There was a personalized welcome note in our room. They gave us dinner recommendations and were very friendly. The rate was very reasonable too. Would certainly recommend.
