Pension Aida

旧市街から少し距離があるのですが、実は、こちらの界隈のバルは地元の方に人気のお店が多く、どちらも行ける点でベストポジションでした。 オーナーのバスクおじさんは、とても明るく親切な方で、bar情報・食事情報を教えて貰いましたがハズレ無しで、短期間の滞在でしたが、サンセバスチャンを満喫しました。 キッチンは、電子レンジ・IHコンロが有り、部屋飲みに最適です。 バスタブは有りませんが、シャワーの勢いは充分です。 眼の前を電車が走っており、気になる人も居るかと思いますが、目覚ましには丁度良かったです。 amara駅、バスステーションからも徒歩圏内です。

チェックインが14時から24時迄なのに 22時にホテルに着くとスタッフがいなく鍵もかかった ままで入れなかった。しょうがなく近くのハンバーガーショップのスタッフに助けを 求めて暗証番号を聞いてもらいなんとか入館すろ。 当然ホテルスタッフはいません。 ホテルにスタッフがいなければ事前にメールで暗証番号を 教えてくれるのが普通だと思う、楽しい旅がこれで台無し になりました。

Fantastic apartment ideally located for everything in San Sebastián. Short walk to bus and train station for easy access, just over the bridge from the old town and a 5 minute stroll from Zurriola beach. The district of Gros is perfect and this apartment is in the heart of that. A quiet side road so peaceful at night. The family room was spacious for 4 and nicely decorated. The staff (Paul and the kind lady on reception) were friendly and welcoming). The price seemed fair and we would recommend Pensión Aida without hesitation. Hope to return again!

Fantastic location. Very clean. Lovely staff. Just perfect. My single room had a larger than average bed (English standard double), en-suite shower room and a lovely little balcony. Although no air conditioning, not a problem at all with the window open and a fan. Very quiet location yet convenient and can easily walk throughout the city. The staff were delightful, i highly recommend

Very nice clean pension. Staff was pleasant and efficient helpful and offered help. Beds were comfortable. Close to stores, restrauants, train station and a quick walk to the beach front. Room and pension access were easy as desk is not manned late in the evening. We couldn't of asked for more.

We stayed recently with our 3 year old twins. It was a fantastic spot, fantastic family room in a great location close to everything. They also organise all the parking close by. What really makes Pension Aida is the staff. I did the initial booking over the phone with Paul who was a pleasure to deal with and helping us with parking where to eat, what beach to go to etc. We we're enjoying our stay so much we stayed another night. Step in Joseph who was also an absolute delight. Again helping us with suggestions and going out of his way to bring us to his favourite cafe. The staff here make this the perfect spot. When in San Sebastian, this a gem. Not to mention the incredible value.

A good pension, room was good and clean. No airconditioning, just a fan which moves the warm air around. For the price I paid I do not expect an airconditioner. The bed was large and good, the bathroom a bit small. When you move the duvet out of the sheets, it helps with a sweaty night. Average walking time to old centre 25 minutes. Bus and trainstation 10 minutes

I spent two and a half days and three nights at this establishment. I can’t think of anything else they could have done to make my stay more pleasant. The reception by Paul was wonderful. He was polite, understanding and well explained all the amenities that came with the stay. The studio unit was clean, and well appointed with fresh linen, towels and bottled water. There is no AC which is quite common, but the unit was equipped with two powerful, adjustable fans, and the windows opened slightly for fresh air. The hotel is a 50 yards or so from train tracks serving the local station. Trains run periodically during the day but diminish as the evening approaches. The location is a short walk to Old Town San Sebastián where one can experience plenty of enjoyable night life and the crowds are not a problem, as there are plenty of restaurants and bars. All in all, a nice stay for my first visit to San Sebastián.

Pros: +Convenient location +Very helpful reception staff +Lovely, clean, and spacious room with good amenities Cons: +Poor wifi. We complained about this and the staff tried their best to resolve this, but this took two days and the purpose of our trip was business. The poor wifi caused some distress. +Rude housekeeping staff. To be very clear, there are two housekeeping ladies. The younger one is very pleasant but the older one is very rude. The rude one came in at 10:30 on the day of our check out and told us to 'vamos' although check out time was 11:00. She has been consistently rude from day one, making us feel very uncomfortable. +The room lacks air conditioning. However, a fan was provided, which provided some relief. But, in a hot city like San Sebastian, the fan was certainly not enough to keep the room cool. We, therefore, found it somewhat difficult to sleep at night.
