Just returned from a 7 night holiday at this resort. We are a family of 2 adults and a 14 year old child. Booking was through Jet2 and we also had a hire car for the full period. As we booked half board, and our flight arrived at midday, we ate out at San Teodoro en route to the hotel. On our arrival at 3pm our room was ready for us to check in. The triple room was exactly as shown in the hotel brochure, and as previously mentioned by others, the room was small. The main issue with the room was the size of the shower cubicle, which was tiny, with a narrow door opening, of around 25 cm, because of the door handles. I brought this issue to staff at Reception and we were offered a room change, and staff kindly moved our cases for us. The pool area is lovely and relaxing with far reaching views, over rooftops towards Tavolara. Plenty of sun loungers, and no problem with people "reserving" beds but leaving them empty all day. The hotel also has it's own sunbeds on 2 beaches. A closer one but beach shoes required as stoney, and a beautiful sandy beach about 15 mins walk away. The entertainment team worked tirelessly the whole time. They were welcoming to all, especially lovely that they greet people arriving for Breakfast or Dinner. The dining room was very busy during food service. Dinner especially you need to be there early to grab a good table. Wine was served during dinner from a tap, which was OK, but not the best Italy has to offer. The food was lovely, something for every taste. A dedicated station serving two different pasta / risotto options, a grill serving fresh meat or fish, lovely fresh salads and vegetable options. Fresh fruit and delicious dolci selection. There is no drinking water available during the day, except for what is served with meals, otherwise it needs to be purchased from the bar at 3 euro for a bottle you can buy from the shop for 40 cents, really as the tap water is brown, this should be something the hotel provides free of charge all day. Fortunately as we had a car, we were able to shop for these essentials. The area is lovely, having a car allowed us to visit the locality. On one evening we took the free tourist bus from outside the hotel into San Teodoro to visit the night Market. Overall a lovely place to stay in Sardinia.
