Sandos El Greco - Adults Only

I am a Royal elite member and cannot get anyone at the hotel to answer a call, anyone online to chat in a live chat forum, or anyone from customer service to answer my request! I am normally happy with my Sandos experience but not today!

Beautiful Location situated next to lovely beach Truthful review booked with Tui as previous positive experiences Superior Double room with balcony. Nothing very superior about the room . The balcony overlooked a wall and pump house with no view whatsoever. The bathroom was OK, but there was a really bad drain smell, and eventually, the shower stopped draining, reported to reception, and maintenance fixed . The smell remained for the week. Thankfully, I didn't spend much time in the room. Cleaned daily, and towels changed. No English TV but I don't go to watch TV. All inclusive good variety of meat fish pasta and even Mexican night, my favourite. Visited the A la Carte restaurant it was nice but preferred food in the main restaurant. The pool was lovely and warm, and there were always plenty of sunbeds available. People had mentioned a lot of steps . I didn't feel there were an excess amount of steps that kept you fit any way The beach was perfect with plenty of water sports and not overcrowded. The location is perfect with a few shops,supermarkets and pharmacies. The staff at the hotel were really helpful and very friendly and worked tirelessly. We booked a taxi to visit the local Hippy Market, which was super easy Also another taxi took us to Ibiza old town in Dalt villa definately worth a visit.amazing views and very good value. Took part in Aqua Gym, which was good fun The gym was OK The entertainment staff need to be appreciated as they work really hard and are always friendly well done I would definitely go back to this hotel

This was our second time staying, last time bed and breakfast and this time all inclusive royal elite club. It was such a good holiday! Lovely room with sea view, great food and drink, great staff, great everything! I would definitely recommend upgrading to royal elite if you can, we made good use of the beach club in the day and evenings. Sometimes it was just nice to have somewhere air conditioned to chill out (literally). We didn’t realise upon booking it was a double room only. Staying with my sister we would prefer twin beds, we asked reception if it was possible to have twins to which they advised no but they did arrange for housekeeping to provide extra sheets so we could essentially “split” the bed by having our own bedding. Our fault for not checking on booking! Reception were always really helpful. Chairs on the balcony are nice and comfortable (something that is rare in my opinion), only issue I have is at a certain time the balcony lights do turn off so feel like you’re being forced inside for bed time! Also, air con turns off once the patio door is opened, and if you shut the patio door you cannot open it from the outside. We found the air conditioning to be a bit temperamental. We would turn it up to full but it would take a random amount of time to actually turn on to that level. The walls are thin, which isn’t unusual in these types of hotels. Mentioning more as a warning! I could fully hear our neighbours conversation while I was in our bathroom. So if you want a private conversation, speak quietly! A lot of people have mentioned beach sun loungers. These aren’t owned by the hotel. Yes, it is expensive for 2 loungers and a parasol but we budgeted to pay for these each day as we prefer to be on the beach. You don’t have to use them if you don’t want to pay! The beach club does have loungers but we like to be on the beach itself. It would be nice if the hotel could offer loungers on the beach but appreciate this may not be possible and would be hard to govern

We booked couple of weeks before departure with EasyJet, never been to Ibiza, wanted somewhere with 2 hour flight. Hotel room and interior of communal really fresh and tasteful, everything you needed in the room and it was cleaned every day. We went all inclusive and the food in the restaurant was fantastic, so much choice with meat, fish, pizza and pasta cooked fresh every day at lunch and dinner. Breakfast was delicious with so much choice, staff are quick to replenish everything and clear away quickly, try and visit alacarte restaurant Xeloc (included in our package) It was fabulous. All drinks were good and bar staff professional and polite. The only thing that we didn’t like (although do realise that is the space they have to work with) is the pool area, sun beds are packed together and every inch of space taken up, people save beds early and it’s very busy. Fortunately the hotel overlooks the most beautiful beach where you can hire sun beds and parasols for €8 each (all day) water is clear and beach cleaned every day, best view ever, you can walk along the front where there are bars, supermarket. Would 100% revisit (its 45 minutes from airport) and we loved it.

Do it! we had the most wonderful visit to this hotel from start to finish. The staff were all lovely, friendly and efficient. The cocktails were lovely and it got to a point where the waiters knew what I wanted before I even said. I loved the help yourself cocktails on the evening too and thought this was a good idea for when the bar was busy. My partner and I loved the baileys (non branded but still delicious). Our room was lovely and each day cleaned to a high standard by our lovely cleaner. During our stay it was my birthday and we had the most wonderful surprise left in our room which made the whole holiday for us (see pictures). The food was to a high standard for an all inclusive and the women collecting your plates and organising drinks couldn’t have been quicker and more helpful (I wish I remembered their names). The chef cooking fresh food always had a smile on his face and wanted you to enjoy the food so went out of his way to help. We loved the two “Danny’s” from the animations team and they really made the holiday for us. They were always full of energy after doing incredibly long hours and we couldn’t fault them ever. The pool was lovely and we loved the hot tub. Having the beach right on the door step was ideal. The restaurants close by were lovely and a small walk led to a beautiful cove and sea front restaurant too. We liked having the shops nearby and although we did not travel much there was so much to do and trips that could be arranged. We enjoyed walking in the opposite direction from the hotel and found a busy typical Spanish bar which was fabulous. We also went on a walk arranged by Danny which was lovely and he really looked after us all. We loved the a la carte restaurant and loved our special meal here. We also loved the white party, such a good vibe. We also enjoyed the bingo where I won a spa visit. Would highly recommend the massages. We won alcohol and a massage in the bingo/ lottery. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this hotel to anybody and if you’re looking at the odd negative review and debating it don’t , it’s worth every penny. We can’t wait to hopefully come back in the future and thank you to all of the fabulous hotel staff who truly made this a wonderful holiday and thank you for making it the best all inclusive I have stayed in.

The hotel was clean and well kept, rooms were cleaned everyday and pool area cleaned very well every night. Entertainment was pretty average and daily activities the same, however I was there for a relaxing week rather than having to do activities. Staff were friendly so no issues here at all. One word of advise is if your not great with stairs then this isn’t the hotel for you as there are a lot of them. Alcoholic drinks were ok but wasn’t expecting amazing drinks being an all Inclusive hotel, the tequila sunrise for me was the best. Here comes the big let down, for me and my girlfriend the food wasn’t great at all, the deserts when I was there tasted like they had been in the fridge for a week and tasted stale, really not nice at all. I tired to stick with the paella and rice dishes as tbh the other food really wasn’t the best, for a 4 star hotel I expected a lot better from the food having stayed at numerous other 4 star hotels. We tended to eat out 6 days out of the 7 we were there as the food was spot on. The pool is small but well maintained and the view on a night time from the bay is stunning, we spent most nights in a bar outside the hotel just watching the sun go down. If your prone to biting insects though maybe bring some jungle formula as I was eaten alive on the first night. All In all it was a nice little hotel for a quiet get away but if your wanting a more lively experience then this area of Ibiza isn’t for you.

We stayed here for a week in June - hotel was lovely - cracking super king bed - air con in the room - spotless hotel. We didn’t have a beach/sea view but for the amount of time we spent in the room we didn’t need one either! Food was brilliant - there wasn’t a single night where we didn’t find something delicious to eat. We were all inclusive and there’s food for everyone - salads, pizza’s, a wide variety of local dishes, we couldn’t fault it. Outside the pool was lovely - with the beach only a minutes walk away. We spent our days between the two - although you need to rent the Sun loungers on the beach separately as they aren’t owned by the hotel. The location is beautiful - we just couldn’t fault it. The staff, without exception, were all brilliant. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Wonderful stay in the Sandos El Greco Hotel. The setting for this Hotel is magical, beautiful sand and clear sea and the sunsets. Rooms comfortable, we didn't have sea view but we're at the back which was lovely and quiet looking onto hillside and villas. Food great and service excellent, the staff are lovely. Entertainment good and Danny and colleague need a mention for their expertise in keeping everyone entertained.

Nice location on beach , quiet resort with a few good restaurants. Hotel was good , looked a bit tired when we were there , but it was towards end of season. Good drinks selection , more staff would have been good at times though. Upgraded drinks package with private bar and facilities was worth it . Food was a bit disappointing, plenty of choices but nothing special and abit samey . Rooms spacious and clean
