Hotel Tagomago

Excellent from start to finish. The location is perfect and the staff are lovely. The breakfasts were phenomenal everything you could ever want. One slight criticism is that it would be nice to have a kettle in the room other than that - perfect

This Family run hotel is a great place to stay . With a warm welcome and staff cannot do enough to help you. The rooms are clean and bright . A beautiful location in San Antonio Bay it is close to all amenities and yet far enough away from the busy high street. We highly recommend and shall go back there again soon.

If you are looking for a family run hotel with traditional values unlike some of the large chains! This is the perfect hotel for you! I traveled alone to a family wedding and all the staff were so helpful including the cleaners! It’s quite an old hotel but it has been updated to a reasonable standard! I would much rather have the feeling of friendliness than the superficial deco that you get in the much more expensive hotels! The location is just a step away from the beech with a lovely promenade taking you into San Antonio which is just a 15 min walk away! I loved every minute and would definitely stay there again! I give 4 out of 5 stars as all was fantastic apart from the room cleanliness. It was unsatisfactory which was a let down as the rest was amazing, i ready this on previous reviews also but ignored it , I hope this review helps the hotel to solve this problem.

Lovely hard working staff ,good aircon,,, brilliant position,,right on the beach,,nice breakfast and evening meal,,clean hotel, comfy beds,no tea making facilities, no fridge in room, swimming pool not very clean,,compared to other pools it was cloudy,i never seen the pool hoover being used over the 5 days i was there,,its a 3.5 from me,,

Had a wonderful stay with friends at Tagomago this September. Fantastic location, very close to the water taxi and shops. About 10 minutes walk to O Beach and a few more minutes on to Ibiza Rocks Bar etc. Some lovely restaurants nearby also. Breakfast was great, plenty of options of fresh fruit, meats, pastries as well as yoghurt and cooked breakfast. Tea, Coffee and fruit juices also. Could never find the serviettes though! Bar had plenty of options and prices were the same as other nearby bars etc. Staff were very helpful and even offered us a late checkout for our last day. We had ground floor rooms and the only concern we had was that they didn't feel very safe. The hotel has a security fence around it but still made us feel a little uneasy. We moved the bed in our room to cober our door make us feel safer as they don't have proper locks and they dont really have a private area outside of some of them. Didn't see this mentioned in any other reviews but thought it was really important to mention. We didn't mention to reception on arrival but perhaps should have. Would certainly suggest requesting a room that isn't on the ground floor if you are solo traveller or group of females. That being said we didn't have any issues whilst we were there. The views from the first floor and above would be amazing too! Rooms were clean with fresh towels daily and beds made. Shower and tap water is different to UK but no big deal, not super salty like some have said. Could hear a little bit of noise from furniture moving around in the rooms above but wouldn't say the walls are paper thin at all. Pool area is OK, could do with some updating as the wooden decking around the pool is looking rather worn. There aren't that many loungers around the pool, about 25 maybe. There are other seating areas though and plenty of shaded areas that were great in the heat. The safes are in the reception area in a metal cabinet that is only open between 9am and 11pm and very reasonably priced. Overall a great stay and we woukd certainly return. Don't let the bad reviews put you off, we felt that they were unjustified. Thank you for a lovely stay, your hotel is so pretty and we had a wonderful time.

By far the worst hotel I’ve stayed in! 1. For some strange reason they put my friend and I two floors apart because they didn’t know that we were together - despite being on the same booking and scheduled to arrived at the same time. 2. The breakfast tasted very weird. I didn’t expect it to taste like it was from a cafe in London but I’ve had a fry ups and orange juice in other EU countries and they were perfectly fine. 3. The Wi-Fi only works for a certain amount of time on iPhones and then locks you out until the next day. When I went to query this with front desk, they guy explained the above to me and said that there was nothing that they could do. 4. I was told our rooms would have a balcony but neither one did. Overall it wasn’t too far from the ***** and the aircon in the room was a blessing but I’ll never stay here again!

Loud, walls are paper thin, can hear conversation clear as day 3 rooms down. No fridge for cold drinks or food. Rooms are filthy and small. Inconsiderate guests give no care about others, even when complained about the noise nothing was done even though their website states it is against their hotel rules to be disruptive to other guests. Food and drink is mad expensive in the hotel. The pool was nice. Overall Would definitely not recommend this hotel at all.

The location was great, close to the beach, bus stop and sea front. The breakfasts were delicious, plenty of food and big choice. The young girl at the reception was helpful from the first day till the end. Rude staff, especially in the bar - Maria and Luis. Luis charged me €1 for hot water, that I need for my medicine, as there were no kettles in the room. Two days earlier another bartender gave hot water for free, but Luis told that his manager told him to charge guests for hot water. Maria was extremely rude with us from the first days of our stays. On our second day she was checking if there is our towels or not although we were at the swimming pool, then she was constantly asking about others towels as they wanted to sell the pool beds to the other guests from outside. The other day after coming back from the beach to the pool we didn’t find the bottle of water, as we found out later - she took it and threw it away. In the afternoon we went to the shop to by new bottle of water and left our towels and apples and magazines on the table between our sun beds. After 30 minutes we returned and did not find apples and magazines. We came to ask her - she said we have to let her know whenever we leave the pool area and for how long, she took our stuff and after arguing a lot - she returned, being extremely rude. I mean we live in democratic country- why should I tell where and when I am going and in what time going to come back, as far as I am the guest of the hotel and leave my staff at my sun bed - I shouldn’t be bothered by anyone. The wifi connection was very poor, everyday we have to restart and reconnect , as the access was only for 24 hours and after few session it didn’t work at all, thanks at the reception the young receptionist (girl) helped us we her own password. Once we discovered ants in the room, informed reception staff, they promised to get rid of them but did nothing. Hotel claims itself as a 3 star hotel, but there is no fridge in the rooms, no kettles and even glasses. In conclusion I must say, that I work in hospitality as well at the same level as 3 star rate hotel, and I was extremely terrified from “customer service “ this hotel offers, apparently staff are not trained enough, they don’t understand how to provide excellent guest experience and provide customer service. To any our request first answer was - no. And only after a while they pretended the do something for you.
