Protur Palmeras Playa Hotel - All Inclusive

I have never encountered such hard working staff in a hotel before! Bar, restaurant, and table staff are just amazing, and the hotel is immaculate! The rooms are spacious, personally I found the beds comfortable however my husband didn’t! Lovely walk in shower, and a fridge in the room too which was a great bonus. The food is absolutely beautiful with plenty of choices, and the lager is Estrella! The entertainment team are great with the kids, families, and games, and Julia’s energy is second to none! The one issue we did have however, was the main lifeguard. He is not employed directly via the hotel, however does not like children playing in the pool! On the first day he tried to stop our eight year old competent swimmer from being in the pool despite us watching, and despite hotel rules stating the minimum age is 6. We purchased inflatables as most kids want to do on holiday. There are no signs up stating these are prohibited, but this lifeguard said no. (The other lifeguard wasn’t bothered but sadly he wasn’t there much). Some friends our son made bought a buggy board - again, not allowed by this lifeguard. And lastly, he would not allow him to jump in, not dive - jump! Reception staff did try to reach a mutual agreement on our behalf, but ultimately said it was the lifeguards decision, and that was that. Sadly this is the only reason why we would not return to this hotel

Excellent hotel for cleanliness friendliness of staff and choice of food . Could not fault this Hotel . Good location too . Entertainment varied and the entertainment team ,two fab ladies ,worked there socks off ,!! Only issue was the wifi access.

There are definitely more pros than cons for this ideally located hotel in Sa Coma. First the cons. *The lounge bar isn't opened during the day - so if you don't want to sit around the pool bar outside, and would rather sit inside in the comfy chairs - you can't! *There are only three cocktails included within in the all inclusive; so if you want Strawberry Daiquiri or a Black Russian you have to pay for it. *There is no tea or coffee available in the restaurant during or after dinner. If you want a hot drink after your meal you have to go to the bar when you leave the restaurant. However, the plus points are *The cleanliness throughout the whole hotel. I couldn't fault it. *The staff are fantastic - so friendly, so helpful and so hard working they are a credit to the hotel. *The location is great - five minutes from the beach. *The food is typical holiday hotel food but it was always hot, nicely presented and regularly topped up. *The towels were changed when required and the room was serviced every day we were there. *There is also a mini fridge in the room which we weren't expecting and the safe is only two euros per day - which is very reasonable. *Additionally, for those who want it, there are clothes washing facilities in a room near the pool. I don't know how much it is as we didn't use it. But it was good to know it was there as it wasn't mentioned in the information we had when we booked. All in all we would most definitely stay there again - it's a lovely hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay again. Location is perfect,Sa coma caters well for everything you require on holiday. Lovely beach only two minutes from hotel.esplanade is nice to Si llot lovely walk with nice cafes and shops. Bus stop and shops nearby hotel on main street. Rooms are really good size,well furnished and kept very clean. Food is excellent both in quality and variety. Nice large pool and excellent adult only roof top pools a great feature. Entertainment is of a good standard and the girls work hard to make adults and children enjoy their holiday. All Staff are excellent and very friendly and this is one of the reasons so many people return. Would highly recommend this hotel Many thanks to staff again for helping to make our holiday so enjoyable. We have booked again for September...

On arrival Check was very smooth staff were very helpful although there wasn't many on the Que, The room was big and airy loads of space and well equipped with extra pillows in the wardrobe , very comfortable beds , with a great pool view . there was a mix of families with small children and older couples but everybody got on well . Mostly English , Welsh , Scottish , and Irish the majority would be English , but again everybody got on well , The Food was very good something for all tastes with gluten free available , also vegan . I didn't hear any complaints at all during my stay . Plenty of sunbeds The sun hits the left side in the morning and the most places by the afternoon . The pool bar is great with food available from 10 am to late afternoon .Daytime entertainment is just ok the 2 girls work very hard and are great fun but I think they need a couple more people on the team maybe 2 guys they could try to push the holiday makers to get more involved and create a big show during the day with more games Table tennis, Darts ,Pool , French Boules. and the other games they did play a few games were cancelled due to lack of interest , i always find playing the games you get to know other guests and make friends on the holiday but that's just me The night time entertainment was very good with top class acts most nights . The Hotel is spotless and well maintained with attention to detail . I watched the bar staff tidy up the tables and chairs in front of the stage its amazing the care they take to have it looking 100% , The evening Bar was Brilliant with Dennis and Luz never had to wait for service and a good laugh top class ! And Now For The Stars of the Hotel IT'S THE STAFF !!!! 👏👏 They are great and that's everyone from cleaning ,gardening, restaurant , Bar , Reception , Entertainment , always a smile and a Hola . Nice hotel, staff are all friendly and go out of their way to help. Room was massive. We were in Bloc C 6th floor. Food was very good for an AI. WiFi signal is dreadful. Shower temperature fluctuated. Decent sized pool. It's a family hotel so it was full of kids. Great idea of metal blinds not windows on the front , let's the breeze in and heat out so corridor never got too hot.

A mixed review. The hotel was exceptionally clean and tidy. The food was amazing! Staff were friendly and hard working. Location good. However; The pool was not heated meaning that it got little use on overcast days and was not enjoyable even on the hotter days. We felt very disappointed considering we were paying for a 4* hotel. The beds were really uncomfortable. The room safes were broken in both of our rooms. The hotel lounge was shut in the day even when it was cold and overcast. When asked to open it they refused and said they would only open it if it was really raining.

Stayed at this hotel for a week in May 2024 and we was not disappointed. The hotel is clean and tidy with a great central location 2 minutes from the beach and shops. Our room was pretty big with a large walk-in shower in the bathroom that was spotless and the hairdryer was one you could use. The room overlooked the pool and entertainment area which was nice as you didn't need to leave the room to be entertained if you didn't want to but when the balcony doors was closed was pretty quiet so did not hinder sleeping. The food was pretty good all round breakfast was the normal fare for a Spanish hotel, lunch time meals was ok but lacked variety but evening meals was always plenty of options and deserts was great. We could not fault any of the staff we came across always greeted with a hello and a smile and was very helpful. The drinks and the snack bar was fine also, the Estrella was drinkable and shorts was mostly local and not named but again palatable, all soft drinks was good and named and there was plenty of water and hot drinks available also. The pool and pool area was very clean and the water not to cold. There was always loungers available and although we did towels down at 7am at low season I dont think there is any major need. The infinity pool on floor 4 was a bonus and we had one day there which has a lift access and drinks area although no alcohol just soft/hot drinks. Overall I cold recommend a week here to anyone, this is classed as a 4 star but I would say its a very good 3 star at best as some things you expect from a 4 star is missing like waiter service in the restaurant and bar/entertainment area and proper named optic drinks, etc. The hotel management should be proud of the staff they employ as they are a credit to them and who knows we may be doing an Arnie " I`ll be back" well done Palmeras Playa for such a good stay.

Had a great fortnights holiday here from check in to leaving the hotel staff were fantastic always greeting you with a smile, room was great food good pool was cold but still people in it including myself. Hotel in a good position for walks and beach nice and level also plenty of shops about. This is a very well run hotel and would happily return
