Hotel Palou 1874

Gorgeous hotel located in the quieter village of St Pere de Ribes. Rooms are decorated beautifully whilst maintaining the character of the old property. Pool is a good size for doing lengths but also chilling and venue is ideal for a quiet break. Staff are really friendly and helpful and i would definitely recommend. It’s near to some fab restaurants and bars.

The building and accomodation is lovely and everything was very clean. The reason for my review not being 5 stars is that in the room we were checked in “RON” was very cold when we arrived -16 degrees. It barely came to 18 by the morning. We arrived late at 2 am in the morning and had noone to speak with. We had to sleep with our clothes on and had No shower..!!! The other thing we did not like is that for breakfast there was hardly anything for us. There were 2 options: vegan and non vegan. The non vegan one had lots of meats and the vegan one was not available. The lady that served us was very nice and excused herself that they barely opened for 1 week and are not fully prepared. We asked for some eggs and they did not had. In the end she brough us some avocado, bread and pastries but it was too little for us and not very nutritious. Very expensive for 15 eur each also and they barely had anything… Other that that the property ia amazing and my understanding is that the ownership is new so hopefully it will improve. Everything should be ready when you open for tourists. Our first night in Spain was not a Good experience because of cold in the room and bad rest and also poor breakfast.

The owner was warm and friendly, spoke both French and English. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was large and warm with a huge bed and great facilities. We had taken our two, very well behaved Springer Spaniels, and they were welcomed like old friends. The breakfast is a joy. Home made where it was possible. Beyond scrumtious local food. We hope to call in here again.

Réservation via Booking pour: 1 ch 2 personnes avec repas du soir et petit déj ainsi que parking privé et fermé. Nous avions prévenu de notre arrivée à 20h30. Une enveloppe nous attendait à l'accueil avec les clefs de la chambre. Pas de repas du soir ni de parking privé-fermé comme écrit sur la confirmation de réservation !!! mais les repas étaient bien facturés pour un total de 172,44 euros (ch + petit dej +repas du soir + taxes séjour) . Nous avons diné et pris le petit déjeuner au village. La voiture a stationné sur la voie publique ... pour 10 euros la nuit ! Nous avons rencontré une personne de l'hôtel le lendemain matin . Sur la base de notre réservation écrite, nous avons refusé de payer la note sauf pour la chambre. Cette dame ,très gênée et confuse, nous fit ses plus plates excuses. Au final, nous avons payé 75 euros pour la chambre seule avec taxes séjour incluses. Nous ne reviendrons jamais dans cet hôtel et ne le recommandons surtout pas ! NB: Les commentaires précédents sont certes positifs mais datent un peu !!!

Casa del siglo XIX bien restaurada, bonita y acogedora. El área de la piscina, el buen tamaño de la habitación y la tranquilidad del lugar, lo hacen adecuado para una escapada. La cena en el área de la piscina, es muy buena idea, en algunas ocasiones con música en vivo. Aunque no tuvimos oportunidad de disfrutar la experiencia pues fuimos con otras actividades nocturnas planificadas, se nos hubiese gustado. La carta orientada a comida catalana, desconozco si incluyen variaciones. No tuve ocasión de ver la carta de vinos. Sugerencias: - Anti deslizante en la ballena, la seguridad es importante. - Tener agua sin gas en la neverita y el destapador a la vista. - Colgantes para las puertas de no molestar y así evitar que entren a limpiar en momentos inoportunos. - Huevitos revueltos en el desayuno siempre se agradecen.

Hotel pequeño y bonito. Las habitaciones grandes, agradables i con algunos pequeños peros (echamos de menos, al menos en nuestra habitación, una mesa para escribir o dibujar y una cama más grande). Nuestra habitación disponía de un balcón orientado a un tranquilo jardín interior donde está la piscina. Tranquilidad máxima tanto en el exterior como en el interior. Servicio muy amable y atento. Desayuno muy correcto y variado. Muy recomendable.

Hice una reserva por error que duró 40min y a la cual llamé para avisar estaba mal hecha, estaba sujeta a 50% de cargo de cancelación. Esto error fue debido a un mal calculo del tiempo de ruta del gps. Se han aprovechado de esta situación para cobrarme ese 50% y no han ofrecido ninguna alternativa Gracias por su buena voluntad

Un exclusivo hotel, en una zona muy tranquila. Donde nos hemos alojado en otras ocasiones. La habitación amplia, con terraza, daba a la piscina. A destacar, la amabilidad y la atención de Anna e Isabel Un trato, exquisito. Repetiremos! Sin duda Repetiremos
