Attention, if you want to charge an electric car! It is not possible through the Hotel. They only have an external system from Enit, where you need to download an extra App, create an extra account, insert your credit card and so on. The Hotel Manager was not willing to help at all and very unfriendly.

We stayed here as part of my Italian birthday celebration. The property is very charming with stunning sea views. Our room had a wonderful sea view with a large balcony. All of the hotel staff were very pleasant and welcoming. On my birthday, the hotel and restaurant staff helped my husband surprise me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and champagne during breakfast. They also had a nice buffet of breakfast items to choose from, along with coffee, juices, bottled waters and espresso. My husband booked a massage for us and although they didn’t offer a couples massage, we were able to make separate appointments and enjoyed our deep tissue massages. With the help of the hotel staff, we got directions and information for places we wanted to visit. We were able to walk into town to nearby restaurants. We also walked to the train station for a day trip to Cinque Terre. We weren’t able to swim in the ocean because of the inclement weather during our stay but definitely will return here when we’re back during warmer weather. We would recommend this hotel to those visiting the Italian riviera.

Elegant, light filled building at the waterfront with relaxed resort ambience. The staff were most friendly, and we make special mention of Daniela and her team who made us feel very welcome. Our room had a beautiful view of the aqua coloured sea and the town of San Margherita. Rooms were very clean with the fresh and crisp linen. Breakfast was wonderful. We highly recommend the place and will come again to stay.

We stayed 3 nights in room 49 from 7th May as part of a five week tour of Italy. Beautiful hotel with stunning views of the bay. To keep costs down we booked the cheapest room which is at the back of the hotel but it was perfectly lovely. Very nice view actually and best of all the first bath we have had so far which was very welcome. Breakfast was fine and if any improvement could be made I would say that there could be a bit more variety and maybe some special dishes like we have had in previous hotels. The view from breakfast is just perfect. Staff were wonderful and special mention to our barman who took great care of us in the evening and always remembered our room number. Very reasonably priced drink’s compared to town, much cheaper in fact. Lovely wine. We swam each day in the sea and there are sun beds dotted around with very few people. Again you can’t beat that view. Lovely little restaurant that we were always too full up to use but would be great to spend a couple of hours there. We loved the town of SML which was an easy walk and spent a few hours each day or evening wandering around. We took the ferry to Portofino which was beautiful and definitely worth a trip. We also took the train to Cinque Terre which was our only regret. Far too busy to be enjoyable and we wished we had spent the day exploring the other little towns close to SML. We loved Sabot in town which served excellent wine and had our first pizza of our holiday at Delfino which was superb and great value. We were able to walk to and from the station with luggage without any issue, about 7 minutes but anyone with mobility issues should definitely take a taxi with luggage. All in all we loved our stay and definitely want to return. Looks like hotel is building an infinity pool which will be stunning.

In a great spot slightly elevated with a spectacular view into the town which is only a five minute walk. Fabulous staff , decor a little dated but clean and everything you would need

Hotel Continental is an excellent Hotel. The Rooms are nice. View from the room is beautiful. The Location is great, you can walk to the town. The Entire Staff was Super helpful and nice. Front Desk staff made some terrific recommendations. The Breakfast was very good and the view from the restaurant is Outstanding and the Team was very nice and accommodating, The Hotel was right on the Water and had a great view. . I would definitely only stay there again if visiting Santa Margherita. I highly recommend this Terrific Hotel. Thank you for making our 5-th Anniversary Trip Special.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was clean, very nice bathroom, and a beautiful sea view. The grounds are lovely and a highlight for us was the natural rock lined swimming “pool”. The breakfast was plentiful, delicious and the outdoor seating delightful. Staff were all friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend this hotel and look forward to a return visit!

We've stayed at this hotel several times previously and we are never disappointed. Great location and facilities. The dining in the main restaurant and the beach bar is excellent The staff are always really polite and helpful. We will definitely return.
