It’s a boutique hotel so not expecting them to have everything a large hotel would have, but they charge you for room cleaning which I didn’t like.

Our stay has been excellent.
We couldn’t sleep the night before in another hotel and we choose this hotel because of its position which is a bit outside the noise of the disco and bars. The staff was super nice and they put us in a very comfortable situation.
Highly suggested if you want to stay out of the mess of Santa Marta!!

Great spacious room. Staff super nice. Close to all the restaurants and night life. Felt safe but recommend to take taxi at night.

I LOVED my stay at El Cactus. The staff from every shift were very positive and attentive at all times. The property itself is gorgeous, the rooms are clean, and it is very peaceful. It is less than a 10-minute walk from the center where the bars and restaurants are located.

The hotel is pretty and up to date, but it's the staff that are truly outstanding. Extremely helpful and courteous. Thank you guys.
It seemed like most people had breakfast in their rooms, but take it on the upstairs terrace. Beautiful and peaceful way to start the day.

Don’t look anywhere else to stay in Santa marta! The staff here are wonderful. The place is a short walk ( 10 mins) to the hustle and bustle of the beach and the surrounding area. The hotel is quiet and safe! And for remote workers, the wifi is great!!! Both my partner and I were on video calls at the same time no issues at all. The breakfast is amazing and everyone is so nice and helpful. Also the water pressure is great and there’s actually really hot water. Beds are comfy and the hotel is spotless. Can’t wait to come back!! Thank you so much 😊
