Jutlandia Family Resort

Honest review, we have stayed in Jutlandia many times over the years, but this year was a bit disappointing as we noticed alot of changes this year with the staff etc , and the clientele, it's supposed to be a family hotel , but this year I noticed alot of groups of men. I think there was a football tournament on in santa ponsa, but these groups of men were very loud and drinking alot making loads of noise around the pool area we're there was families with kids trying to relax and enjoy their holiday. The staff are great and do a great job, but I also noticed they were understaffed behind the bar and the cleaners didn't clean the room as good as they did compared to the other years that we stayed there. Also the real shock was the lady Liz no longer working in the kids club, my daughter loved going on holidays to Jutlandia, because she loved spending time in the kids club making friends and doing really good activities with Liz, art and crafts, tshirts painting, cookie decorations, it was so disappointing that she wasn't able to do any of these things this year and plus the new girl , doesn't spend any time with the kids. No interaction 😕 she spent most of her time on her mobile. Booked because we loved Jutlandia and the staff, and Leo the entertainer who does a great job. But didn't feel safe leaving my daughter with a young girl , who is not professional etc

Honestly the pictures online don't do it justice. The pools and area around it were just perfect for the family. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially the guy who was working reception (didn't get his name). The rooms are basic enough but kept very clean with daily towel changes and beds and floors cleaned. Would be a place I'd visit with the family again. Maybe a new sound system for the pool side entertainment could be looked into. Met some lovely people there too.

3rd time in Santa Ponsa and will not be going back to Jutlandia.The staff are all great hard working despite being rushed off their feet in the bar and waiting for ages for a drink due to lack off staff.Receptionists very helpful,Leo the entertainer fabulous.We went back as my kids love going into the kids club as they do T-shirt painting,Cookie decoration,drawing competition etc and the Scottish lady Elizabeth brilliant with kids.Felt very safe leaving kids in her care.This year the kids have no interaction with the young girl running it who spends all her time looking at her phone and 2 days ago stood talking at the door with no assume was her boyfriend.Just sits at the desk and no activities.My kids usually go in for a hour in the morning and then enjoy the pool and slides and then an hour at in the afternoon so I can get showered ready for dinner in peace.The other afternoon the girl put us all out at 5 saying she had enough!!There was a handful of kids she just sent out.Before kids were signed in and out by an adult.Now they can just wander out the doors.We think this is unsafe as kids make there way to apts or other side of pool without us knowing they’ve left .Booked because my kids loved the club and Leo at night entertainment but don’t feel safe leaving my kids with a young girl who doesn’t seem to be very professional or responsible enough to be in charge of 3 year olds.

I visited Jutlandia in mid April with a friend, booking Jet2's all inclusive package, understanding that food would be served in their sister property across the road and that drinks and bar snacks would be available from Jutlandia. Our weather for the week was sunny and warm on most days but there was a cold wind most of the time. We have several complaints, but the biggest one, by far, is that the dining area was extremely cold. In fact, the vast majority of diners ate their meals, sitting at their tables, with coats and scarves on! To further add to this problem, the buffet was generally well stocked with a wide variety of good quality food but the food was also cold and people were queuing to use the microwave to heat their meals up. It was truly disappointing and totally spoiled our holiday. It must have been perfectly obvious to any staff in attendance and we also mentioned the problem on several occasions to the guest relations managers at Jutlandia but nothing was done to remedy the situation. It truly was not acceptable that we sat there with thick sweatshirts and coats on. We were also very disappointed with the drinks provision. All the drinks were dispensed by taps, even wine with our meals (which we had to serve ourselves) and cocktails - I know that the hotel is only rated 3*+ but it just gave off the general air of a cheap café. We were also charged a 1 euro deposit for a plastic glass, in case we sat around the pool, but we noticed that several groups were sitting out there with bottles of wine and proper glasses. Even coffee, which I am told was awful, was served in the 1 euro deposit plastic glass! The location is quiet and the apartments themselves are fairly spacious but they are very dated - tatty stair gates to stop toddlers going downstairs, torn covers on the sofa, patio doors that were difficult to close, a shower that was hugely under powered and constantly too cold to use and no washing up bowl, plug for sink, washing up liquid etc and although superficially clean, there was mould around the shower cubicle. It is billed as a family resort and a huge effort has been put in to making it wonderful for very young children, but there was nothing really for adults, even in the evening, just magicians and parrot shows - no live music, no quizzes etc We would not return and it has dented our trust in Jet2 for using such an inferior location.

Hotel was average in terms of facilities. As I was travelling with a one year old it would of been good to know that the entertainment at night isn't a choice. It is so loud as the stage is in the middle of all the apartments and disruptive when trying to settle your young one. If I had of known this I probably wouldn't have choose this hotel. Families with older children is great as it continues on until 11pm.

Hotel and staff was brilliant. Catered for my disabled father. Arranged a mobility scooter for him on our arrival and let us have late check out for a fee as we had late flights home. The food was standard but all in all was great. My son absolutely loved the entertainment through the day and night and the pools we great. Would recommend and we will be returning. Shops and restaurants just 5 mins walk away.

We've just got home from a week in Jutlandia (me my husband and 2 kids - 3yrs and 8months) and we've had the best week, despite 3 days of rain initially, the sun finally made an appearance. However: even with rainy days there was still lots to do for the children each day and my 3 yr old daughter absolutely loved the kids club!! We were inside more than outside:). When the sun finally made an appearance, the kids pool was brilliant and they also had a mini football pitch, zip wire swing, children's rides ( for €1 a go), pool tables as well as a night disco at 20.30 and evening entertain afterwards. Although we didn't have any food as we were self catering and enjoy meals out as part of our holiday, all of the staff are so friendly and welcoming from the reception to kids entertainers to bar staff to cleaning staff etc it was all so good! We even had a mishap when our laundry was done and a t-shirt didn't come back of my husband's. The matter was resolved and Petra at reception did amazing customer service on resolving the issue so a big thank you to her!! We will definitely be back, can't recommend enough for value for money and experience in a great location just 5-10 minute walk from restaurants, bars and the beach

2nd time back. Just as good. For me, the best part about this place is the staff. From front of house, to entertainment to hospitality staff, they couldn't do enough. Bar service could be a bit faster but that's a minor complaint. Will be back.

Absolutely fantastic stay st Jutlandia. We booked last minute as just wanted a cheap and cheerful week away. We were not disappointed. Food was good, always something to eat, every evening there was something freshly cooked whilst you waited,pork steaks, chicken skewers, veal, lamb. There was also a different joint every night, beef, pork, lamb, chicken, duck and a selection of vegetables. Salad, fish and kids buffet also. The snack bar made food fresh fir you, none of this dried up food being sat under hot light for hours! Pool was clean and cold! Beach was like 3 minutes walk down the road! Rooms were basic, could do with a little upgrade, but were clean and nothing to grumble about. Our toilet broke and was fixed within an hour! Although we didn’t have any kids with us, the kid’s entertainment was fantastic and we will be returning with our grandkids! Kids disco was brilliant, all kids were up enjoying it! Evening entertainment was ok, my husband liked the parrot show! One tip, take mozzie spray!! I found out i was allergic to mozzie bites and ended up needing medical treatment for infected bites!
