Hotel Bahia del Sol

El personal del hotel es muy amable y todos los servicios son muy correctos para el precio que pagamos.

Bel hotel bien situé à coté d'une belle grande plage. Accueil agréable, personnel souriant.Personnel du service restauration très sympa. Dommage que le jacuzzi n'était pas en route.Beau buffet varié par contre je trouve qu'il n'est pas normal que l'on doive payer l'eau quand on paye la demi-pension ! Nous avons était dans d'autres hotels de Majorque où l'eau , les sodas et le vin était en libre service. Juste coté piscine, le fait que beaucoup de personnes réservent leurs transats dès 7 h du matin en posant des serviettes sans être présents, du coup, plus de possibilité de s'installer autour de la piscine après notre petit-déjeuner , la direction de l'hotel devrait l'interdire !

Too much we did not like as others have said before. Check in slow Receptionist surly Dining room chaotic Breakfast taken away at 10.00 on the dot even though the breakfast hours are until 10.00. Staff physically stopping guests from passing for more hot water! Hand up...shouting NO at guests. We only went once...again chaotic. No proper tea, leaky teapots, water from 1 ancient old urn! Main bar is expensive. The Sky bar is much cheaper- why??? There is an extra sun terrace on Level 5. Nobody seems to use it. No poolside service for anything. The hotel has a good location, rooms are large but ours had only side sea view but we paid for sea view. Some rooms are refurbished some are old. Very few walk in showers. Lots of hot water abd good shower heads. We found the staff to be unfriendly and we won't be back to any Bahia hotel. This hotel needs a new manager and a huge amount of changes made to all services! There are many German guests. Written notices were put up only in German. The pool is unheated and there are not many sunbeds and no proper umbrellas. We enjoyed Santa Ponsa but although on half board we ate out almost all of the time.

Very pleasant stay. Area is amazing! Short walk to the beach. Restaurants, shops, a lot if entertainment options. Kind and helpful staff in hotel. Clean, freashly renovated facilities. Beautiful room with the sea view. Excellent food. Difficult to beat all inclusive base.

Well, not a good alexpierience for me at all... we stayed there with my sister.... First what happened was at 2 am when we arrived, coffe machine blocked, we couldn't get even hot water as I had to take my medicines. They said you can eat now as ypu traveled at night but we found in a restaurant nothing really to eat, I'd say some leftovers. 1. we booked economic room without balcony and we ended in disabled room with wall view. 2. We had a half board and no drinks were included to dinner, even water. 3. My sister got sick while we stayed there, I couldn't get her any food to the room even we paid for breakfast and dinner, she wasn't able to go down all day as she was so weak and they didn't let me even take tea for her. I was so disappointed. Staff hotel turned out very unhelpful and unfriendly.

Nice hotel , 10 minute walk to the beach. Nice large bedroom. pleasant staff. Food was ok but the food self service area is much too small and can't cope with a full hotel. We arrived just before 11 pm to check in after travelling all day .I went to the bar for a drink at 11 pm and they said sorry we are closed. I wasn't happy, Never anywhere in the world i have stayed in a 4 star hotel where the bar shuts at 11 pm especially in a holiday resort, The receptionist kindly argued on our behalf with the bar staff to give us 2 bottles of beer. Also if you order a gin and tonic at say, 10.45 pm you get it in a paper cup . Sad but we won't be going back.

Really beautiful modem hotel close to everything and literally opposite the beach. We went half board- breakfast and dinner huge selection and very tasty. We had late check in as our plane was delayed. At 3am it would have been nice to have gotten a drink. The receptionist was very accommodating and did make us a coffee. Our only gripe was that there are no coffee/tea making facilities in the room. And definitely not enough sunbeds for the size of the hotel.

Stayed for 3 nights and will never be back. As someone who doesn’t write reviews and honestly never complains about hotels I just had to as our experience was not a pleasant one. To begin with, we had 2 deluxe suites booked and paid for and they found it appropriate to put myself in a room that didn’t have an allocated number. We were told to look for the word ‘usedom’ and was shocked to find the room, isolated from the rest beside a stairwell that anyone could easily fall down. Entered the room and was shocked to find no balcony and the smallest room I think I’ve ever been in. We went straight down the stairs only to be told there were no other rooms available until the following day which I didn’t accept as the room I paid for obviously was more expensive. Then was given a different room, a bit more of a step up from the one before but still not the one we had booked but had to check out the next day to check in again and head to the room that was originally booked. Headed to that room only to find that the air conditioning wasn’t working. Told the staff at the reception and headed back to my room later on to see a small fan sitting on the floor of my room. You can imagine how good that was at cooling a hot room down. It didn’t make for a pleasant nights sleep. As well as this the actual room didn’t lock from the inside. The food also isn’t the best. We only had breakfast and dinner once whilst being there and we are not very picky eaters. Genuinely the only positive thing I have to say is that any of the staff we were speaking to were very pleasant. Please beware when booking this hotel. The pictures are very deceiving.

First impressions of the Bahia Del Sol were very good the front of the building and the reception are very nice and well kept. On arrival the reception staff gave us rooms in what seems to be an annex building. You go up one lift walk across a makeshift tunnel and go to another lift. The rooms were horrendous. Small poor decorated and the balcony faced straight to a brick wall. We immeadiatly returned to complain. We were then given rooms in the main building looking on to the pool. These rooms were large and modern with aircon and large balconies looking over the pool and the front of the building. You can also see the sea from these rooms. We were half board on this trip and the food was acceptable. The hotel seems to cater for German people more than anything. We only ate dinner a couple of times but had breakfast most mornings. The bar is over priced and the beer is horrible. The staff were friendly enough and called us taxis etc when asked without any issues. I would stay again.
