Mangia's Santa Teresa Sardinia, Curio Collection by Hilton

I spent a week in this hotel. Great facilities and friendly staff. If you like hiking or cycling this is a great place.

Amazing food and special location. Nicest Curio I’ve ever seen so far. In love with Sardinia. Kudos to the Front Office Manager Valentina, suoer nice girl very helpful, and Pina the Housekeeping Manager.. what a great and passionate lady!

As a Hilton Honors member I've choosed this Curio Collection, well, they have just started, but overall, it is really a great place and well managed. Gorgeous location, wild nature and a lovely town nearby, charming sunset that we'll bring home...

We had an incredible stay. Check in process was very easy and any requests we had were immediately addressed. I can say our stay was exceptionally better due to the fantastic help of Ariana (front desk). She is a gem of an employee and should train others to have same 5 star service she provides. Room was large and very clean, bed very comfortable, and area was quiet. Live music on weekends in the bar area was a great ambiance. We also enjoyed the pool and many shops around the pool area. If there is only one suggestion is that the breakfast needs more attention. The employees all work hard but we noticed a lack of management here. The area is large with lots of potential however more often than not there are foods empty and do not get replenished quickly. Also there is a lack of variety of food. A suggestion could be to invest in a fresh orange juice machine and waffle station for the guests and/or have an a la carte menu. Overall we loved our stay and look forward to coming back again.

This hotel is an old property that has had a few Euro spent on new beds and curtains. It is closer to a 3 star property than 5 star. The air conditioning in the bedrooms just doesn’t work. The grounds are shabby. (Dangerous paths, dead grass, etc). The main buffet is like a works canteen from the 1980s.

We are halfway through a 10 night stay and so far are feeling pretty underwhelmed. The hotel itself is beautiful and the location is stunning, though remote. We don’t mind that too much though and are happy to walk to Santa Teresa / Capo Testa and the local beaches. However, the service at the hotel is definitely not up to standard. We asked to hire bikes (which is advertised on their website, and shown on a price list), only to be told they had no bikes to rent. The air conditioning in the room was stuck at 24 degrees, which for us is just much too hot to sleep in. We explained this to the reception staff and they said it was centrally controlled but they’d speak to maintenance about it. The following day we returned and they said the same thing. Obviously no conversation took place so I spoke with the tui rep and thankfully it was sorted out very quickly. However, if tui had not intervened, I don’t believe that we’d have been taken notice of at all. The air conditioning in the gym is also pretty non-existent, though the equipment is good and it’s a nice space. We decided to attend the Pilates session one evening which was advertised to us as being at 6pm. We attended the location a few minutes early, to find nobody there so assumed we’d got the wrong place. We spoke to reception staff to double check and they looked at us as if we had made it up. Finally they got in touch with the instructor who told them that it had been moved to 4pm. The reception staff, who had minutes earlier known nothing of the Pilates, informed me that they had called all of the rooms to make them aware, but said they’d forgotten my room. They then asked which my room number was! Not the only time we were lied to… I asked if anything else on the sheet was incorrect, to be told it pretty much all was. Why they bother with it, I don’t know! The food is boring. It’s not inedible but it’s mostly cold (intended to be) with one small area of hot canteen like food, with very basic boiled veg and pasta in a tomato sauce. Much like you’d expect at school. Breakfast is fine. There are other restaurants nearby and I’d definitely recommend those over staying at the buffet. We are yet to try the a la carte (with differing information being given by reception as to whether it’s included in the half board or not! We will find out…) Even the basics are not done well, with toilet roll not being replaced, cleaning staff not arriving until gone 5pm (when we’re trying to get ready to go out) and the cleaning cart is left outside of our door all day, everyday. Which feels unnecessary and hazardous in case of a fire. Today we wanted to book an excursion. I spoke with the excursion staff just after midday to be told that the excursion currently had 6 people booked onto it, and it needed 8 to go ahead. She said that if my husband and I booked, that would make 8 so it would secure the trip. I was told to come back after 4pm though, as they were closing at 12:30. This was still 15 minutes away bu

We booked all inclusive for a week, food is just ok, not much variety. Very few “friendly” staff. One particular woman behind the bar obviously doesn’t like working there, she’s very miserable and rarely smiles. We got the general feeling that all inclusive guests were an inconvenience, we were refused service around the pool (other guests were served at pool) ignored at the bar on occasions. After 5 days of having Coca Cola Zero, we were told we could only have normal Coca Cola that Coca Cola Zero was not included in all inclusive . Drinks served are very small measures with loads of ice! Hotel itself is nice but service is shocking!

Hotel itself is a high standard for Italy. However it’s in a very remote part of Sardinia, there are no shops, there’s 1 mini mart but it was closed so you can’t even buy water from anywhere except the hotel. It’s an extremely rocky part of the island and hilly, with a 50 minute walk into town via part of a nature reserve. Not suitable for anyone without a car or with mobility issues as there’s literally nothing here. The hotel is not beachfront, it’s built on a rock, it’s at least a 30 minute walk (uphill and on roads) to the nearest beach that you’d want to visit. The hotel beach (if you can call is that) is awful. Breakfast is fine but would avoid dinner in the evening. However, there’s no where else to eat really. Unless you want to walk uphills And on roads for 30 minutes. Really poor location. If you want a few days of R&R with not leaving hotel facilities at all it might be suitable. It’s like holidaying on the moon!

Nicely located on a little hill right by the sea, this charming resort gives you sea views from almost every point of the resort: from the rooms (the “seaview” ones of course) and their little balconies or terraces, from both pools, from the restaurant and from the stunningly beautiful bar, that offers sun-downers with classy live-music. The pool water isn’t heated hence quite chilly, but the beauty of the resort easily makes up for it: Wooden sunbeds, beautiful beige umbrellas, unbeatable views. And if the front-desk is the heart of any hotel, that’s a good heart in the truest sense: The team is heartwarmingly friendly as if they’d welcome family members, yet at the same time professional, fast and efficient. Valentina is the perfect front-desk leader, Coroline and Alberto were just overly helpful and going out of their way to make every single guest happy. Also, the atmosphere among the team is warm and friendly, a very pleasant experience for the guest. The breakfast is nice and has a good selection for Italian standards. Overall a 100 per cent recommendation.
