Nice hotel very well located in a beautiful place. Our bedroom was big and comfortable, the view was nice, the crew were professional and kind. Just 45 minutes drive away from Lisbon, Immerso is a true escape. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the hospitality and the stunning beauty of the property. Our bags were whisked away to our room while we were left to enjoy a cocktail on the terrace overlooking the countryside and crashing waves below. The rooms are beautifully designed and you can feel yourself relaxing as you walk down the cool corridors surrounded by the smell of eucalyptus. The robes are so comfy and invite long mornings cuddled on the balcony overlooking the ocean. We had a wonderfully relaxing couples massage at the spa as well. There is a free shuttle that takes you into town to explore the sun and surf of Ericeira, and ubers are easy to catch to surrounding beaches. The pool on the property is beautiful and peaceful. The food at Immerso is absolutely a highlight. The complimentary breakfast buffet is stunning - full of fruits, pastries, fresh veggies, and delicious breads. On top of all this, you can also choose made-to-order omelets, pancakes, and other hot items. We will be dreaming about our two dinners at Immerso for years to come! The duck rice and beef cheeks were both deeply savory and flavorful and we ordered the beet salad twice! The wine pairings were stellar and brought everything together. Thank you to the entire Immerso staff for giving us a perfect honeymoon. We cannot recommend Immerso enough and wish we could have stayed longer.

Room was very nice, clean and spacious with a beautiful view. Staff was friendly, food had good choices. Business facilities were good, although air conditioning in conference room could have been a bit easier to control. Hotel is located in a beautiful area, bit far from the city.

We had a great time during our 5 night stay at the Vila Gale Sintra. I’ll start with the pros of the resort. The property itself is beautiful. The pools, the scenery around the hotel are amazing. The family room layout was great for us. It was essentially what appeared to be what used to be two rooms combined into one. The large balcony was great for sitting out at night. The sunset was spectacular from our room. The kids activities were great as my kids got to enjoy the carousel, playground and trampoline park. Be aware though that they only open these at certain times throughout the day. The breakfast was great and had a ton of selections. There were a few cons, the first was the buffet dinner. It was quite expensive at 29 euros per person and the options werent great. They only really had one meat and one fish that they were cooking and there was a line to wait in if you wanted it. We only ate dinner there the first night. The room was partially refurbished. The carpet looked older and the sliding door within the room kept coming off the tracks. And the bathroom was a little odd in that the vanity was open to the rest of the room. So if someone needed to use the lights for it they would light potentially wake up the person in the room if they were sleeping. Then the WiFi, while it worked well for the most part, kept having to reconnect to the network. This happened on both my phone and iPad several times each day while I was there. The location of the hotel has its pluses and minuses. It is a quiet resort away from the city of Sintra. And it’s also located in a place that makes it easy to get to the beach and Colares. But there isn’t anything else right around the hotel so you need to rent a car or take an Uber to get around. We took and Uber and it did work pretty well. Nothing is within walking distance and the nearest bus stop is a 20-30 minute walk away.

I paid €175 per night for a room with breakfast included. Breakfast is not special, but in view of the environment it was a good time. A little unusual to ask a guest to wash the dish he spent for breakfast when he paid €175 per night but at the end it was a comic episode that only added to a well-fledged experience. The least good part was to have booked a bedroom with a pair bed with a wooden bar in the middle, and either you sleep on one side of the bed or on the other. When you collect these values, you have to be careful with some details people! In the rest, very sympathetic and good experience in general.

We stayed as part of a small group on a walking holiday over the New Year. We liked our room despite having a view of the car park - this didn’t bother us. Reception quickly provided a kettle and sachets of drink for our room when asked. The group used one of the conference rooms on several occasions and it was good. We could not complain about the breakfast - the buffet was very extensive. Dinner was very good too and had several food options with enough to suit our vegetarian members. The staff were extremely helpful and personable both in the restaurant and at reception. New Year’s Eve dinner was exceptional and the whole evening was memorable from the free flowing drinks and canapés reception onwards. My husband used the spa and rated the massage as very good . It’s a shame the indoor pool is only 1 metre deep though! We found the hotel well maintained and clean. We’d like to come back in the future as we’d like to spend more time in Ericeira.
