White Santorini

We booked 2 rooms for several days each in hopes of capturing all the best of Greece. Unfortunately, our first impression was with a cold and impersonal reception. What we expected after traveling 5,000 miles was "Welcome to Santorini and we are so glad that you have chosen to stay with us." What we got was arguments about credit card payments and an unwelcome feeling. We received no help with our luggage and had to lug our luggage to our rooms. The furnishings in our rooms were nothing more than average, hard mattress, 24"TV, worn out couch. The views were wonderful and the breakfast service excellent. We had stayed here before and noticed that the choices for breakfast had been scaled back. We have stayed at true 5 star properties around the world. Unfortunately, this is not one of them.

We stayed for 2 nights in room 106! It was spacious and handy to the elevator and coast path. The breakfast was indeed exceptional offering everything you could want or desire. Our host, Christine was a charm, sweet and so kind. She made our anniversary truly special! But the piece de resistance were the sunsets. Totally spectacular every night! The food recommendations were also very good (Aegean Restsurant and Anogi) both walking distance.

We stayed in a Superior room and it was very nice with a private pool. The staff was like family and very helpful. Betty and I wanted to recognize Christina and Giannis. This is at the highest point of the Caldera and the view is amazing. This is a bucket list trip.

If you're wondering where to book for your trip to Santorini look no further than the White Santorini hotel! We stayed in September 2023 (little late to write a review!) and it was the most incredible & perfect trip thanks to the wonderful staff and a special mention to the lovely Sofie who made our trip unforgettable! We stayed in the white annex suite and it was so beautiful & perfect, the views were out of this world! Sofie was amazing at helping us organise everything we needed from dinner reservations to the Catamaran cruise, horse riding & the couples spa which she reserved for us to have private facials & massages - definitely recommend!! She also helped organise all the transfers we needed and most importantly she helped my other half organise the most beautiful proposal during a private Candlelit dinner on their roof terrace and helped him get a photographer to capture the special moment. He afterwards told me how Sofie spent time going through all the weather forecasts hour by hour with him to make sure we had the right time & weather for sunset. Any request was never too much effort & she was so friendly which helped make the trip unforgettable. The location is a beautiful little town away from the really busy popular areas but there are local buses you can easily use to get to places like Fira & Oia but if you're looking for a more private, relaxing break we would definitely recommend the location! Santorini isn't a very private area as they are all built up on the cliffs so privacy is limited but we never felt overlooked or uncomfortable staying at the White annex. Thank you so much for making this trip more than we could have ever imagined, we will never forget it and hope to come back in the future! The White Santorini hotel will always have a special place in our heart!

After hours of research for accommodation in Santorini, I decided to stay at White Santorini because it was: - In Imerovigli, not Fira or Oia - had a rain-shower head! I don't like hand held shower heads! - free shuttle from port - Santorini port is CRAZY busy and getting a bus can be difficult and a taxi can cost up to 100euro. Now having stayed there for three nights, I can say that it was a fantastic choice for the above reasons but also for: - Lovely staff! - Very Comfortable beds (but doona can get quite hot) - Great shower - Our room in the 'annex' (100m down from reception) was superb - huge! It was also below a great restaurant 'White Lounge' - Very Quiet - Lovely breakfast delivered to your room each day: coffee/OJ/eggs/croissants/cheeses/museli/fruit etc - Amazing view - - Lovely relaxing sun lounges with a view (but slightly obscured by some greenery) Highly recommended

Could not recommend the hotel enough. The staff have been so attentive, looking after us from start to finish. The accommodation was lovely and we had uninterrupted views of the sunsets away from the crowds of Oia. There are also lots of really nice restaurants within walking distance to suit all budgets. Whilst staying, we have done a boat tour of the island and also walked to Oia and back. We recommend doing both if you can, to see the island from different view points.
