We were placed here due to a cancelled Bestfly flight. The place needs some money investing in it. We were given our room number and made our way to the room. There was urine on the seat and sand in the shower, AC control needed batteries. All rectified swiftly as cleaning staff were available. Bathroom floor was dirty but we just got settled. There was a selection of food put out at 8pm for stranded passengers. Assumed it would be replenished as things were eaten but this didn't happen. Same at breakfast (which didn't open until after 8:30!) - a few slices of ham only and then cheese, bread, cake and some bananas. What we did at dinner have was tasty but should have been more. Bed was very comfortable. Only one spotlight worked in our room so we used the bedside lamp as our main light. Balcony doors are rickety so very difficult to open and close. No shower mat to step out on so was slippery on the (dirty) tiled floor with wet feet. Lots of ants. There were droppings under my bed too (I only looked as I saw a bug fall down and was moving the bed from the wall in case it was a spider - I am not a person who checks under beds). My husband informed me there was one TV channel. There is no pool - this should not be listed as having a pool!! We checked out and moved to another hotel after our first night (at our expense) as it was too bad for us. That said, Patrique is a credit to the place. He deserves a special mention.
