Great location, free happy hour drinks and snacks as well as afternoon treats in the lobby. Reception was not very friendly.

Wow, how to begin. The hotel and rooms are quite beautiful and the never ending view along the river with the almost constant movement of gigantic ships, is mesmerized. The location is also perfect with enough restaurants and shops within close proximity that you can find plenty to keep occupied even on the occasional rainy day. Now, with all that said, a caveat to any travelers wanting any semblance of rest. The second floor rooms are pure nightmare. There appears to be some sort of a supply room on that floor. The staff likes to use it for rather loud gossip and partying and when not in use by the staff, there apparently is a bowling league practice in there! The noise from tables and chairs and dishes being moved around at times even late into the night is just aggregating! The walls offer absolutely NO help in reducing the racket. Would we return to River Street Inn again? YES! As a matter of fact, we can't wait to return but, only if we would be guaranteed a room on the 4th or 5th floor!

Convenient location on the riverfront. Unfortunately our room had floodlights outside (336) and thin curtains, so the light glared thru all night.
Valet parking a bit confusing where to go, but the guys parking were great.
Manager’s reception was a nice amenity, but go early, they don’t replenish the appetizers!

We had a fabulous 24 hour excursion in Savannah and a big part of that was the River Street Inn. We arrived early and front desk was very accommodating - making sure we had a room as we just finished a marathon in Hilton Head. Our room had river views and was truly industrial chic! Beds extremely comfortable. And of course you are in the heart of Savannah!

Property has lots of character & the room was great though there was a periodic loud noise that occurred all night which was not conducive to a good night’s sleep.

Would highly recommend the River Street Inn. The staff were all wonderful and friendly and extremely helpful! Tiffany and Dave from the managers reception were especially nice!!
Rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable!!!

This was a delightful place to stay. We had a riverfront room. It wasn’t grand but it was very comfortable and clean. The manager’s cocktail party was a bonus. The sever was wonderful. We would definitely stay there again. Check in was easy, and again, the staff was great.

All the employees were great to deal with except the hostess who seated us for breakfast in the restaurant on the first floor. She is not a people person and acted like it was a bother to seat us after getting off her cell phone. Bad attitude!!
