It started off well - friendly check in. When I pulled back the sheets to get in bed, there were numerous “bug parts.” They looked like bug legs.
I called down and the young woman who was friendly upon check in was no longer so friendly. She told me I could come fine and get done sheets to make the bed. I told her I was a guest at the hotel and didn’t feel it was my responsibility to change the sheets. She moved me to another room (I was exhausted after driving and had no desire to change sheets or rooms). When I went fine for the new room key, she didn’t speak to me. Very rude. There was no “I’m sorry there was an issue with your room.” No customer service skills.
The worse part was the next morning when I was checking out. I started to mention it to the man at the desk and he interrupted me and said my name. He proceeded to tell me that housekeeping had inspected the room and there was nothing in the sheets. That they were completely clean. I tried to tell him I didn’t understand his that could be and tried to show him the pictures I had taken. Time and date stamped the night before-clearly after I had checked in and before I switched rooms. He REFUSED to even look at the pictures and ARGUED with me, saying I was making it up. I was shocked. The customer is WRONG!
Honestly, it was the craziest and worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I paid good money to stay at this hotel, had dirty sheets, and I was the one who was treated with disrespect!!
