We stayed here for 3 nights in their larger room option as part of a tour package which we did some game drives. The hotel is superb. The rooms are huge and really nicely kitted out. Some reviews say they are a bit dated - hmm, it’s modelled on a Haveli so that’s sort of the point? The facilities are beautiful - the larger pool area is simply stunning. It’s a bit weird to go for a swim there, and you can’t sunbathe as all the beds are under cover, but it is astonishingly beautiful. The smaller pool is much more practical and near the spa, which was also nice if a bit pricey. The food is really good if you’re into curry. The kids were a little over it by the time we arrived this hotel and we were all desperate for some veggies - so they were really helpful in preparing fried chicken, stir-fried veggies and some fries. They also made pizza another night. A godsend. Perhaps it would be good to offer this sort of thing on a menu rather than on a hopeful request. The staff in the restaurant were excellent and super kind - even remembering the kids’ breakfast order and arriving with it before they even asked! The wine and beer was reasonably priced - £30 for a bottle of Indian wine which was surprisingly drinkable, and £5 for a large local beer. We loved it and would definitely stay again.
