The location is very good, near the Forest walk in front of Hongdae station, good neighborhood as it’s not the noisy side of Hongdae. However, the owners might not always be present at the house so it’s hard to get help from them if you don’t have a local number to call. We left our luggage at the house on our checkout date and have told them that we would be back at 1pm. However, no one was at home when we went to retrieve our luggages. Just something to be mindful of for future guests.

Great comfy and clean stay, even though in the middle of Hongdae. It was great and easy access to the Hongdae area. I would definitely stay again

Perfect placement very close to Hongik Univ. underground station and green cozy area. Very nice staff. Very clean and we had all we needed. We stayed 2 adults and 2 teenagers in the family room. Not a big room but everything was working fine and the price was very good so more money left to do shopping in Seoul 😊 Thanks for a nice stay, we'll definetely be back next time!

We had a pleasant stay at the guesthouse. It was clean and has basic provisions as described. The insulation of the house was excellent such that we feel warm despite the cold outside.
Easy access into guesthouse and room and also convenience to subway makes it worthwhile staying here.
Owner and family members all rallied together to help us contact the necessary authorities when our luggage was delayed and helpled to receive our luggage at odd hours in the early mornjng.
A few steps outside the accomodation was a hive of shopping streets, all within walking distance, including supermarkets.
I would stay at Daol guesthouse again if I were to visit Korea and would recommend it to anyone who wants a convenient place to stay when in Seoul.
Pl note that no breakfast is provided and the kitchen and all the electrical appliances in it are not accessible for the time being due to Covid. This was not informed on booking sites.
