Great hotel, easy to get around, Namdaemun market is across the street. Walking distance to myeongdong street food and all the shops. There is also a 24 hour good restaurant next to the hotel and the restaurant serves really good food. It helps you when you have jetlag.
All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The best thing is the pressure water of the shower and after 19 hours flight, you feel great and relaxed.

The location is very convenient, there is a convenience store right next door as well. When I checked in, the counter staff also gave a free bottle of wine and cookies (think this was for Marriott bonvoy members which is free to join anyway). The room was well maintained and cleaned daily as well. The only minor gripe I have is that the light at the door is by sensor and kept flickering, but otherwise everything was good.

Modern hotel that provides comfort for my families of 6. Hotel room is clean with decent amenities and laundromat. Would recommend hotel to provide more washer and dryer given the demand.

Stayed for 5 nights at the premises. Room was reasonably priced and sized for the prices paid. Hotel staffs were helpful throughout the stay. Service made up for everything else. Overall would recommend if u are looking for a quiet place away from the bustling Myeongdong area.

Courtyard by Marriott is conveniently located in Namdaemun. It is about a 5-10 minute walk from Myeongdong and City Hall. It is located next to a street of Korean BBQ restaurants and there is a convenience store located right below. Starbucks and several cafes are also within short walking distance (less than 5 mins).
Although rated 4 stars, the hotel felt close to 5 stars. The standard deluxe room was adequately spacious for 2 although the larger deluxe rooms definitely felt better, with space to open up two luggage bags and move around them.
Most of the staff could speak English and we had no trouble communicating with them. They were all very friendly and helpful.
There is also a gym and a laundry room located within the property, which is useful for those who are staying longer. A cafe (Sapoon) is situated within the hotel so you don’t even have to leave to get a cappuccino.
Overall, the highlight of the hotel is its location but the quality of the rooms and service were great too.
One thing to note is that the window to the bathroom can be covered by a blind but that blind is operated from outside the bathroom. Something to keep in mind if that is an issue for you and your travelling companion.

It was a bit far from Myeongdong but general quiet and peaceful. eateries are nearby.
Only issues was that they could not accord Bonvoy nights which is disappointing

The location is great, very convenient for seeing Seoul. I gave it 5*
The service was mostly good but we were moved to the bar area to eat breakfast which meant eating on a coffee table (at knee height) instead of a taller dining room table, this made eating breakfast very awkward. 4*
Our room had a weird damp smell and was quite dusty, overall not bad but the smell wasn’t pleasant. 3*
The hotel has a nice gym, coffee shop and laundry services and which are useful 4*
