Le Petit Molière

We arrived on extremely short notice needing a few extras. We were delighted with Gwen’s flexibility and hospitality. We found a clean and comfortable room, gorgeous yard and garden and a much needed washing machine and clothes line. The table d’hôte was outstanding. We enjoyed 2 home cooked meals that were delicious and healthy. The wine selection, well, perfect, of course. The garage is great for cyclists to assemble, maintain and store bikes as needed.

Such a beautifully restored gem in a typical French village! Every room is tastefully furnished with antiques and provides the modern amenities one still likes to have ( I.e. modern bath, coffee maker) Nicola and Gwen are very kind hosts, served a wonderful breakfast with everything you hope for in France, the fresh croissants, baguette and much more. We met some nice other guests at breakfast and got good travel tips from them and Gwen. A true B&B , quaint, great house and grounds and all at a very affordable price. Can’t wait to stop there again on our next visit to the South of France!

This is a lovely family house and that is the problem, it is not a B&B, its a family home with all the noises and activities you would expect. We felt we were intruding and never totally relaxed as you never felt you had total privacy. Also felt the breakfast, although tasty was basic and not overly generous for those with a large appetite.

If you want to experience French village life combined with perfect hospitality in a beautifully restored french home then le petit Molière is for you. Just 20mins from Beziers airport by car. Nicola and Gwen run the most exquisite B&B in the heart of a typical french village. Their house is renovated to a perfect, authentic standard, with no detail left out. The bedrooms are kept cool and if not fans are available in the room. The comfortable beds are adorned with crisp white linen and sumptuous pillows. A tea/coffee station is provided in the room also. There is also a good quality hairdryer provided. En-suite bathrooms are also spotless with spacious showers and fluffy towels provided. There are delicious french breakfasts provided and eaten outside in their shady garden and incredible evening meals (should you wish), cooked by Gwen. Lazy days can be spent by the pool at the end of the garden and you can lay here and smell the lavender which surrounds. Drinks can be provided from their excellent wine/beer cellar at anytime of day on request. From this base you are free to travel to local towns and beaches all within a 20min drive. Béziers town is a must with its beautiful architecture and Unesco site of 9 locks along the canal and of course the shops and bars. Pézenas is a smaller town but worth visiting again for its French culture and markets. The beauty of staying here is exacerbated by the welcome and attention to detail and wealth of local knowledge provided by Nicola and Gwen who are the perfect hosts anticipating your needs before you do. We returned from our visit feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. We will definitely and cannot wait to return! Thank you. It was perfection

Having stopped at Le Petit Moliere last year we knew all about this little gem of a place and once again we had an absolutely fabulous time. Thank you to Nicola & Gwen - we can’t recommend this lovely place highly enough.

What a superb B&B Le Petit Moliere is, an absolute gem. The house is beautiful, our room (room one) was spacious, well finished, very comfortable bed, wardrobe, tea & coffee and with a great en-suite with excellent shower. Breakfast outside each morning with fresh pastries & a selection of fruit, yoghurt, cereal, fresh orange etc. was lovely. We had three evening meals during our stay, home cooked by Gwen, they were delicious. On top off all that Nicola & Gwen couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful, we stayed for a week and loved every minute. Servian is nice and quiet and is a perfect base from which to explore the area, with beaches to the East, mountains to the West and historic places all around. We unreservedly recommend this fabulous B&B and very much look forward to returning there sometime in the future.

Super stylish house that has been lovingly restored by its gracious owners. Nicola and Gwen could not have been more accommodating. They were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our rooms were spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Great showers and very comfortable beds. Our evening meal was restaurant quality, delicious! Breakfasts are served simply but with everything you could want. Fantastic tea! The position of the house is perfect to explore the area. I highly recommend a stay here. Thank you Nicola and Gwen!

Friendly and welcoming. A peaceful place to stay with accommodating hosts. We loved our stay at this bed and breakfast. A spacious garden, good amenities and a perfect breakfast. Servian is ideally located for the nearby sites. There are a few local restaurants - Gwen was able to reserve a table for us.

Nous avons séjourné deux nuits dans cette agréable chambre d'hôtes où nous avons pu nous ressourcer dans un cadre magnifique (très belle propriété décorée avec goût), le petit déjeuner était gourmand. Bref une adresse à ne pas manquer.
