Le Grand Hotel

Great location in Sete. No complaints we have stayed many times before. Downside is probably the parking situation. Very difficult to stop in front of the hotel to check into the hotel. There are two garages belonging to the hotel. ( 19 euros per night). The garage we were allocated to was extremely tight, so it is advisable to let reception be aware if you have a large car.

What a nasty old smelly hotel! 3 stars for this dump ! What a joke! Upon arrival no parking,lobby tattooed girl clueless..unaware of the concept of customer service! Room dark hot smelly! Place is a total old ruin with cheap decoration that won’t hide all its cracks and wrinkles! On the top of it all they will try to charge you for a room that you refused to take..pityful!

Love this hotel. It’s right in the centre of town. The rooms are comfortable with excellent amenities.staff are delightful and I can’t think of a bad thing to say about it. Totally recommend it as it’s in perfect walking distance of everything

The Grand Hotel in Sète is a charming hotel with a stunning courtyard where you can have your breakfast. Our room, a superior with canal view, was clean and spacious. The bathroom had a tub and modern equipment. Only the loo was really tiny. The hotel is right in the centre of town, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Nearby there is also a private parking for guests for cars and bicycles. It is the best 3* I have ever been to.

the decor of this hotel is amazing as well as its location. The rooms are comfortable and have heating and A/C. The bathroom is spacious and functional. The view from the third floor is AMAZING. Checking was slightly difficult as the front desk clerk did not speak English. We managed through it and it did not detract to the stay. Just be ready to use your translation app. The breakfast was amazing. A simple but delicious continental breakfast consisting of croissants, baguette, pain au chocolate, cold cuts, and coffee. I was here on business but would love to return for a romantic weekend with my Wife.

We spent a week in this hotel staying in room 104 which is a superior room and has a view over the canal. The staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, the shower was really good and the aircon kept it cool despite a heatwave. Breakfast was nice with pastries, bread, fruit, cheese, ham and boiled eggs. We ate in the hotel restaurant twice, traditional French cooking at its best. You need to reserve a table before you stay as it’s only a small restaurant. We used the train to get around, the station is about 15 minutes’ walk. There is a fridge and a coffee making machine in the room. The hotel is beautiful, we loved staying there.

L'hôtel est vraiment très original et superbement décoré. Les chambres sont bien insonorisées et la salle d'eau est spacieuse. Nous avions choisi une chambre sur le canal. Il est très agréable et atypique de prendre le petit déjeuner dans le patio. Beau buffet avec des produits frais et régionaux. Personnel très agréable. Attention pour le parking : si le premier est complet, l'accès au 2e est très étroit pour les voitures un peu plus larges... Une suggestion : il faudrait prévoir un plateau de courtoisie dans la chambre (que l'on trouve dans la majorité des hôtels de cette catégorie). Je recommande sans hésitation cet établissement.

Cet Hotel est très bien situé : au centre de Sète, sur le bord du canal. Une fois la voiture stationnée au parking de l'hôtel (dont l'accès nous a été autorisé avant l'heure d'accès à la chambre) tout peut se faire à pied Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables Le patio intérieur très sympa Le personnel très agréable je recommande
