Hotel Dona Lola

Erg goede locatie en schone kamer. Personeel was ook erg vriendelijk.

Cogimos este hotel con piscina sabiendo el calor que iba a hacer en Sevilla. El día antes de nuestra llegada enviamos un email preguntando el horario. Al llegar al establecimiento nos comentan que el horario era otro y ya estaba cerrada la piscina.. Destacaría también que está prácticamente pegada a una discoteca y hubo mucho jaleo hasta altas horas de la madrugada. La gente estaba justo delante de nuestra ventana ya que está prácticamente a pie de calle, fumando, bebiendo y a gritos... Para colmo la ventana poco aislaba el ruido y la persiana estaba rota, no bajaba más de la mitad.

Lage ist gut im Zentrum, Sauberkeit ist prima aber es gibt ein Föhn aber funktioniert nicht. Swimmbad ist gesperrt und funktioniert nicht. Nicht empfohlen für Menschen, die leichten Schlaf haben, da innen und draußen ist tagsüber echt Lärm.

This was one of the worst experiences I have had in Seville. I booked through Booking but the owners actually route the booking through Agoda and check in info from them does not arrive. There is no reception and you have to find guidance on check in further down the street. The receptionist there took no responsibility for the lack of check info and the door code details. Furthermore this is by no stretch of imagination a ‘boutique hotel’. What a joke. The rooms are tired and badly maintained. The bathroom had rotting floors and cracked glass. Also there is no information on the WiFi code, neither in the rooms or in the entrance lobby. This property just doesn’t care at all about their guests. It’s cynical outfit that only cares about getting your money. Never again.

A friend suggested me to chose this hotel. We booked for 2 nights. Despite the welcoming at the reception has been nice and polite, the room was not at the same level. The major problem was the mattress. We could not sleep at all as it felt like falling in a hole in the middle of the bed. In the morning we asked to change room but the hotel was full. We then asked for refund of the second night to find a new hotel. They refused. We asked for partial refund, but we did not receive any answer. All the exchanges happened via SMS because the reception opened at 9.30 in the morning. We felt really bad and unsatisfied.

The shower was opposite the kitchen sink there was no privacy. Not much sleep as there is a night club 2 doors down so noisy going as a family we where put in separate blocks not ideal Beds are comfortable.Easy access to shops and sites Lots of restaurants and bars clean Loved Seville but wouldn’t go back to this apar**ent

Twin bed instead of King, poor water temperature control on shower, unreliable elevator, overpriced, noisy street at night.

Hotel rates in Seville have gone up considerably in 2022 but overall this property was overpriced. Very little about this hotel was as advertised for us. We traveled with a newborn and we chose this place because it was marketed as an aparthotel. In fact, our room was in teh "apar**ent" side of the property. The listing for our unit included a "griddle" and "coffee and tea in public areas". None of that was there. When I mentioned this, the staff told me it was probably an error and to their credit, I saw how they changed their listing in *******. Our "Deluxe Room" was changed to a "Comfort Triple Room". Good for them, because there was nothing "deluxe" about our room, which was tiny, tight and half-baked. There even was a floor lamp by a corner that was disconnected because there wasn't a single outlet you could connect it too! It did look nice, though... when the sun was out and you didn't need to turn it on. The were no nightstand lights, so you either had to be in the dark or have the entire room lit up, not ideal with a newborn when you have to wake up every two hours to nurse. The bathroom had very awkward towel hangers and the shower was too cold or scalding hot, impossible to find the sweet spot. And then there was the internet... totally useless. I had to use up my cellphone's data package to use it as a hot spot because the WiFI was garbage. You could barely browse, let alone stream anything. This is a pimped up pension de toda la vida at boutique hotel rates.

I really enjoyed my stay in Seville. I will start with the negatives 1)would have been nice if kept the jacuzzi open longer during the year. 2) out shower didn’t drain well so leakied on the floor 3) slight smell in the room. However these were minimal and plenty more positives. Beautiful building, the bed was huge and comfy as was the sofa, kitchenette was adequate and the staff were extremely helpful and nice. The Dona Lola is situated in good place to access the sites. I would definitely stay here again!!!!
