Murillo Alcazar is fantastic accommodation in the centre of the old city of Seville. The self catering accommodation is immaculate. Daily housekeeping was also included. Added bonus of a rooftop terrace to enjoy some chilled time. Reception team / check in very friendly and invested time in providing guidance on sightseeing to supermarkets

Fantastic location ... the best in Sevilla .. .with views of the cathedral and alcazar. The two large rooms and the kitchen felt like a palace of extra space. Will book here on our next trip to Seville.

Outstanding location for a stunning apartment and impeccable service . Excellent value for money . Highly recommended. Everything about this apartment was perfection. Views from the balconies, roof top garden, fresh towels each day as well as re stocked beers in fridge. Rather special !

We stayed here for 3 nights just after Christmas, my husband booked this apartment as it was a great location for sightseeing. It’s right next door to the Alcázar and the cathedral, and close by to bars and restaurants. We arrived to Seville and had arranged a taxi through the hotel, but that’s the only thing with staying here you have to stop off to collect the keys from the sister hotel Suites Murillo Plaza Sta Cruz, you have to check in there first and then they can walk you to your apartment which is about 8 mins away, they explain everything clearly and give you contact details if any problems occur. On arrival you enter through the lift which opens directly into your room, there is a kitchen, lounge area, bedroom and bathroom, which are a good size, plenty of storage. The location is on the corner so you get views of the cathedral, and you are able to take the lift to the top floor to take in the view of the cathedral. In the summer it would be lovely to have a sit outside and have some drinks up there. The apartment has a fully stocked kitchen with equipment if you did want to cook, and the bathroom has supplied the usual shower gels etc along with razor and toothbrush if needed, towels and bathrobes also supplied. Daily room cleaning is also done. The downstairs shop below, where you can grab a coffee and snacks offer discount if you show them your room key, which we didn’t find out until the final day, and they can arrange taxi for you to. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would be happy to return.

Amazing location right beside the famous Alcázar and Seville Cathedral Staff extremely helpful. They gave us great advise before we arrived in relation to Xmas in Seville and were also very helpful in helping with wifi technical questions. The suite itself was exactly as shown in the photos. Room was cleaned every day. Very comfortable and modern space.

Fab location, fall out the door and you’re immersed in the cathedral and Alcazar. Great facilities in the rooms and a lovely terrace on the top floor. We would highly recommend this property for a stay in Sevilla

We were both very impressed with the Murillo Suite next to the Alcázar and delighted that we chose this location for our 8-night stay in Seville. Because of this duration we’d decided to find an apartment, rather than a hotel. I think we made the right decision! The only tricky part is arriving. Murillo seems the have quite a lot of hotels and apartments in Seville and to check in to the apartment meant arriving at a hotel (by taxi seemed the most convenient way), to have passports checked and then we were escorted to the apartment. After travelling, negotiating the cobbled streets with luggage wasn’t ideal, but it was worth it. We read a lot of concerns before booking about access to the apartment. It’s really nothing to worry about. We were issued with three key cards (just in case!). Access from the street into he apartment is by key-card into a small foyer from where the lift takes you to the apartment. Key cards are coded for each apartment and there is one apartment per floor, so it’s not possible to accidentally enter the wrong apartment. The apartment itself is fabulous, consisting of four areas: a generous sitting area, a kitchenette, a bedroom and a shower room. Overall much more spacious than I would have expected in a tourist hotel for around the same price. The sitting area proved useful for relaxing, the small kitchen well equipped with plates, utensils, etc., the bed was large and comfortable and the shower room featured a large wet-room-style shower (i.e. without a shower screen). The apartment is modern and equipped with ‘proper’ air-conditioning (i.e. not a retrofitted wall-mounted system, but with a controller and vents in the ceiling). Also it was possible to open one or more of the numerous windows, and all handles and openings work. Despite being so close to the Alcázar, with the double glazed windows firmly closed the noise levels were never a problem. We noticed that the apartment, from street access and throughout the apartment is designed to be accessible. A few words about the location. Well, it’s perfect. It really is right across the street from the Alcázar. In fact you can see the queue from the apartment and judge the right time to join it to minimise waiting time! The apartment, and the terrace on the fourth floor, both have amazing views of the Cathedral. It’s a short walk to the numerous tapas restaurants and bars, but not so close to be in earshot. You can hear the clip-clop of the horses used to pull the sight-seeing carriages, which starts about 08.30, and the regular chiming of the cathedral bell, but as I say, with the windows closed, neither was a problem. We became familiar with public transport during our stay, so decided to return to the airport by bus. There’s an airport bus (EA) that stops near the Torre del Oro and takes less than an hour. If you prefer to return by taxi, the hotel reception will organise that for you. All in all a highly satisfactory experience and I
