Guisu Homestay (Nanjing West Road)

What a cute place! The communication since the moment I booked was amazing and the location perfect. The house was cozy and a great bonding place for Christmas, opening presents.

Really great little stay. The apartment is very big and the beds are comfortable to sleep in. Very accomodating staff helped us changed the dates of our stay and provided very detailed instructions on how to get to and check into the property. The kitchen has basic utensils and cookware. Property was clean, though it looked a little more well-used than in the photos. Easy walk to the metro station. A moderate walk to the Bund. The couch in the living room is not that comfortable to sit on, but overall still a very good stay.

I recently stayed at Guisu Homestay in the Tong Fu Scenic Room Shanghai and had a fantastic experience. The location is unbeatable—less than 100 meters from the iconic Shanghai Starbucks Reserve Roastery and just 20 meters to the Shanghai Metro station, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. The homestay is surrounded by an array of delicious street food options and fantastic restaurants, giving you an authentic taste of Shanghai's vibrant culinary scene right at your doorstep.

I cannot recommend this homestay enough! The location is absolutely perfect—ideal for both tourists and business travelers. Situated close to key attractions, public transportation, and business hubs, it made exploring Shanghai incredibly convenient. The amenities were fantastic—the room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. For the price, you simply won’t find a better option in this area. The value for money is unmatched! What made this stay truly exceptional was the housekeeper. She was amazing—always available on call and genuinely helpful. When I checked in at 2am due to a late flight, she was there to guide me to the exact location and ensure I checked in comfortably. Throughout my stay, she assisted me with everything, from getting a SIM card to recommending great places to eat and offering guidance on anything I needed, 24/7. Her kindness and attentiveness made me feel at home. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Shanghai, this is it. Perfect location, excellent amenities, and outstanding service—you won’t find better!

It’s a damn good location as a tourist and access with those famous street by walkable 👍🏼👍🏼
