The entire resort was amazing. From the rooms, to the pool, to the beach, to the food and all the way to the gift shop, it was truly spectacular. The service was amazing and everyone was super nice, I'd love to come again. Even the local vendors on the beach were nice and I was able to learn another about the culture

The most beautiful hotel on the entire Mombasa coast (north and south). In true tradition of the Serena Hotels, the hotel has been constructed in the respective local architectural style, here as an image of the village of Lamu. Absolutely beautiful! Most of the bungalows consist of two rooms on the ground floor and two on the first floor and not one of them is built like the other. Thanks to the layout of a village with winding paths between the houses, you never get the impression that there are a lot of people staying at the hotel. Every corner offers yet another intriguing view. There are many different flowering bushes and trees and the air is filled with the magical scents of the tropics. A spacious area by the beach offers total relaxation, with sunbeds, sofas and hammocks under coconut trees, forever whispering in the refreshing breeze from the sea. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed. Lamp stands, curtain panels and every piece of furniture are made of wood and are individually carved and adorned, again in the traditional style of the Lamu area. The attention to detail is astounding. All this is rounded off with delicious food and drinks, served perfectly by the very friendly and professional staff. Once you have stayed in this gem of a hotel, you never want to spend time in one of those huge, many-storeyed buildings....

The Sea View Rooms are Clean and offer the view of the Indian Ocean beyond the lush garden filled with Palm trees. The Environment is quiet and conducive for a get away.The lush gardens are well manicured and swimming pool is great for relaxation .It’s a beach front resort which overlooks white-sandy Indian ocean. Overall, the customer service is impeccable.

Excellent staff that I have ever experienced! From the entrance to the beach to the dinning to the entertainment area 100% The rooms are spacious, well stocked. Bathrooms had everything I'll required. I'll recommend to anyone who wants comfort wrapped with excellence.

Our stay at Serena Beach Resort & Spa was an absolute delight from start to finish. The combination of beautiful surroundings, excellent service, and unforgettable experiences made our visit truly special. One of the highlights of our stay was the fantastic time we had at the upstairs bar, where Ruth (also known as Nyota) made our night so much fun. Despite our less-than-stellar karaoke skills, Ruth encouraged us to take the mic, turning our evening into one of laughter and joy. Her energy and enthusiasm were infectious, and she made sure we had an unforgettable night that we’ll always look back on with a smile. We were also served by an amazing team, including Sandrah, Esther, Rebecca, David, and Alice, all of whom were absolutely lovely. Their friendly and attentive service made every moment at the bar and restaurant enjoyable. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel truly pampered throughout our stay. Evelyn, the front desk receptionist, was equally wonderful. Her warm welcome and helpfulness set the tone for our stay, and she was always there with a smile, ready to assist with any questions or requests we had. Our rooms were fantastic—clean, cool, and blissfully free of mosquitos. After a day of relaxing by the beach, it was a pleasure to return to such a comfortable and well-maintained space. The resort's attention to detail in ensuring a comfortable stay did not go unnoticed. Overall, Serena Beach Resort & Spa exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of a beautiful setting, impeccable service, and memorable experiences made our stay truly wonderful. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already planning our next visit.
