I booked the partying hall for my engagement, Its was one of the best decision I made, Mr. Majid Abbasi helped me in everything, one phone call and every little detail will be done. Also the food was very delicious, so many food options. I was really surprised how they take care of everything. Thank you Mr Majd, Thank you Verona Resort.

The best part of Verona Resort,believe it or not was its exterior walls which when looking from outside looked very impressive.However the infrastructure alongwith everything else was of a very poor quality. There was nothing at all impressive about this property or its services.Absolutely no repeat value whatsoever.

Verona resort used to be a hidden gem at the border of Sharjah and Ajman when it just opened over a decade ago. The concept of this compound of two-storey buildings was built around Rome & Juliet theme; it had a couple of nice restaurants with decent food and pretty and spacious guest rooms. It looks like there was no renovation since then and the quality of maintenance and general upkeep is a big question mark. Guest rooms: wallpapers are falling out, wooden furniture is shabby and broken. We found a cockroach on the wall. Bathroom: most of the fittings are not fixed properly, fungus is all over the place, no shower curtain. Breakfast was a pure joke: a couple of bread items, milk with cereal, potato curry, yoghurt and watermelon - that's it. However, the waiter was kind enough to bring us some omelet when we asked him if there is any other food. Teabags and instant coffee in disposable cups. The pool looks ok, but all other areas are full of various hotel equipment just lying around in chaos. There was a maintenance work above our room until 1 am. We are not going to come back.

I stayed in this hotel between 25 December 2021 and 1 January 2022. I would like to share my impressions. 1. The hotel is on the border of Sharjah and Aijman, so my main walks and visits to places (restaurants, shops, beach) were in Aijman. This would also affect the cost of taxis to Sharjah city centre (30 AED), bus station (AED 17), shopping malls (AED 20-30). 2. The hotel had up to 80% tourists from Russia, the rest were from India, Pakistan, my neighbours were 2 businessmen from Iran. 3. The room is large, very smoky, the furniture is old, the walls are dirty, the washbasin in the bathroom was leaking, the toilet did not completely shut off the water (although the plumbing problems were fixed by the staff at first request). There were a few days with clouds, the water was not warm enough in the sun and cool water was flowing from the hot tap. 4. The hotel has regular celebrations (saw an Indian wedding, an Arab wedding and some other celebrations during the week), so if you want to go to bed at 11 PM, you will find it difficult to do so. There are also planes flying over the hotel 24 hours a day from Sharjah airport, be prepared to hear the sound. 5. The pool on the first day of my arrival was cold, however the next day after talking to the manager the heating was turned on and all the next days swimming was enjoyable. 6. The breakfasts at the hotel are monotonous, very poor as for UAE, quickly boring. 7. You can have lunch and dinner in nearby cafes (25-30 AED), and also in restaurants on the beach in Ajman (there is a good restaurant of Turkish cuisine, seafood restaurant). The portions are huge! One meal is enough to be satiated. The average bill ranges from AED 40-50 and up to AED 100. 8. The public beach in Aijman is dirty, there are no sun umbrellas (not relevant at this time of year). The sea is clear, often stormy, cool. I liked sunbathing more at the hotel, the water in the pool was warmer than the sea. 8. Shopping - I liked the Sahara Centre, the prices are high but in December and January they do good discounts, you can buy brand name clothing, there is also a lovely food court with a selection of food; during the Dubaiexpo2020 exhibition, free buses go from Sharjah bus station directly to the exhibition, the exhibition is interesting, it takes a few days to see everything, keep that in mind when buying a ticket to the exhibition. Conclusion - not a bad hotel for a budget tourist, overall justifies its 2 stars. Accommodation in Sharjah is much cheaper than Dubai. You can always go to Dubai by bus to Union station and then take the metro to almost anywhere in Dubai.

Из всех бюджетных вариантов Верона показался наиболее выгодным из-за своей близости к морю. 10 минут пешим шагом до ближайшего пляжа - большая редкость для эмиратов (Отмечу, что дорогу при этом переходит не нужно!!! Вышли из отеля, повернули налево, прошли мимо остановки общественного транспорта, потом дошли до перехода у отеля Шератон, и через минуту вы на пляже). Большая часть туристов именно по этой причине сознательно выбирает этот отель из года в год. Ближайший к отелю пляж, правда, совсем не благоустроен (нет лежаков, зонтов и общественных туалетов), и соседствует со стройкой, однако это вовсе не мешает проводить там время на относительно чистом песке. Каждое утро территория городской набережной убирается. Это, пожалуй, единственный, но довольно существенный плюс отеля. Отмечу, что в конце декабря вода в Арабском заливе прохладная, солнце начинает согревать ближе к полудню, при этом загар проявляется уже на второй день. Во второй половине дня становится ветрено, а часам к 4 дня начинается отлив. Вечером берег заполняют семьи с детьми, приезжая со своей пляжной мебелью и коврами, однако наблюдать закат это не мешает, с набережной его отлично видно. Верона находится на границы двух Эмиратов - Шарджи и Аджмана. И если до Шарджи нужно ехать на городском автобусе, то до центра Аджмана можно дойти пешком вдоль благоустроенной и освещенной набережной. На ней есть пешеходные и велосипедные дорожки, а также многочисленные рестораны и кафе через дорогу. В шаговой доступности от отеля есть несколько небольших продуктовых магазинов и дорожных забегаловок. Сетевые супермаркеты расположены минутах в 10 ходьбы: Viva и Nesto - налево от отеля, параллельно набережной, Carrefur - направо от отеля, в небольшом торговом центре на шоссейной дороге, ведущей в Шарджу. Там же есть обменник, пиццерия и кафетерий. До самого крупного супермаркета, Лу Лу, где можно купить товары местного производства, придется прогуляться минут 25, тоже параллельно набережной. Я пользовалась Яндекс картами в режиме оффлайн и ни разу не заблудилась, так как ориентиром всегда выступает залив по левую руку от центральных улиц Аджмана. Персонал отеля - это, в основном, индусы, очень приветлив и доброжелателен. Видно, что территория отеля когда-то была неплохо благоустроена, но от былого блеска не осталось и следа: фонтаны не работают, в бассейне вода всегда холодная, сауна закрыта. Единственное, за чем еще ухаживают, так это кусты и газоны. Бар на территории отеля ежедневно сдается в аренду местным жителям для семейных праздников, от чего минимум до полуночи в закрытом дворе отеля стоит невероятный шум. В отель я приехала после полуночи, заселили сразу, забрали туристический ваучер, помогли занести чемодан. Мне достался номер 107 в первом коттедже, на 2 этаже с балконом, выходящим на ресепшен. Ни одной ночи за всю неделю я не спала - мешал шум шоссе, музыка и крик гостей в баре. Вероятно, хозяину не важно спокойствие постояльцев отеля, пользующегося популярностью только среди российских т
