It’s was an incredible experience in siem reap with our super guide Mr.Leng ! Don’t hesitate, do your trip at Angkor and Flotting villages with him 🤌🏽 you can find him in the receipt of this hostel Also, he has a super tuktuk, without roof, as a super car

Had the greatest experience here. The staff are amazing, the drinks in the bar are very well priced and the pool area and amenities are fantastic. The location is great too. Our highlight of the trip was our visit to Angkor Wat with Mr Leng, he is amazing!! So knowledgable and went above and beyond to teach us the history and culture of the area. If you visit this hostel you must request Mr Leng!

Loud 1990s techno music blasts through old , dilapidated speakers through out the day & evenings .Trying to get a clean towel or bedsheets is a marathon effort , often unsuccessful. It's a hangout for flashpackers and mainstream tourists who seem to all cling together and wear the standard tourist uniform of baggy mass produced cotton rags.

We had an amazing time here - especially because of all of the staff who are the friendliest and nicest people who really made us feel welcome to Cambodia. We booked 3 days tour with Mr. Leng who works at the hotel in his Tuk Tuk for Angkor Watt and surrounding temples and had the best time, we would recommend that all backpackers ask for him for the tour. We had some of our favorite time in South East Asia with him exploring temples, waterfalls and passing through the countryside while learning the history here of Siem Reap and Cambodia/Khmer people - you will not be disappointed!

I stayed for one week at Garden Village. Would highly recommend a guided tour with the (very fluent) english speaking guide Mr. Leng! Mr. Leng has 18 years experience as a tour guide in Siem Reap, and a lifetime of experience as a proud Khmer citizen of Cambodia. I enjoyed the extensive history lesson, and hearing about Mr. Leng's personal connection to Khmer culture, in equal measure. Additionally, Mr. Leng has a proper, full driver's license; and his tuktuk is able to make a far commute out to, and up, Mount Kulen—where other traditional tuktuk vehicles are not allowed to go. Ask him about what the best tour for your expectations is... and where the best viewpoints for photos are! He's a great photographer too! I look forward to my next visit to Siem Reap to learn more from him!

Loved our stay here, the location was amazing about 5 minute walk to pub street. Rooms were quiet at night so got a good sleep. We booked the 1 day Angkor tour through the hotel and our guide Leng was amazing he took us to temples no one else usually went to and told us about the carvings and about Buddism which was above and beyond his job! He became our friend and took us to see the sunset one night and a couple beers he really made our time in Siem Reap incredible we extended by 2 more days at this hotel! Pool was very clean and got the sun most of the day and a 24hour bar with delicious food and drinks. Overall a 10/10 experience and would stay here again!

This is such welcoming place to stay, they make you feel like you’re a family member. The staff were really helpful and everyone was really happy. Mr Manat helped us organize a two day tuktuk-trip to Angkor Wat with Mr Leng. Our expectations were exceeded, Mr Leng gave us so much history about all the temples we visited and made the trip so much more amazing. We want to come back to Cambodia and we’re absolutely staying at this amazing guesthouse when we do. Totally recommend this, a solid 10/10.

When I first arrived in Siem Reap I stayed at another hotel, which I had booked via *********** at £28pn. It was a great hotel but as a solo traveler it was a little pricey, given that I would be traveling for a few months so the budget was tight. Once I was in Siem Reap I transferred to the Garden Village (upon a recommendation from a local tattooist, Benny, who I bumped into at the border crossing). There are two parts to the hotel - the dorms/ guesthouse and the boutique hotel. The dorms can be about $7 & private guesthouse about $12. I stayed in the boutique hotel rooms. Note, they are not quite boutique, but the rooms are better that the guesthouse. These cost me $15pn and well worth it as it was away from the bar and pool, which can be noisy until the early hours of the morning. I was initially in a room facing the bar and the water was not draining down the shower so I requested moving and the staff were very obliging and got another room ready for me. Very happy with the 2nd room. The shower worked well with hot water, it was a quieter, room size was excellent, AC worked well, no smells in the bathroom, good sized two single beds. There is free use of the pool, nicer little bar and the cost of food is reasonably priced so I had my breakfast at the hotel. The location is very central too, close to Pub Street, the river eating places so there is no need to take a tuk tuk. One negative is that they do not have a safe in the room but if you put the do but disturb sign up then no one will come into the room to make up beds etc but you're valuables will be safer.

I stayed in Garden Village guest house for several days. Located in the heart of Siam Reap in a quiet location close to Pub Street. With great food and friendly staff. Football, Swimming, Volleyball, are just a few activities to do there....
