Phum Khmer Lodge - Village Cambodian Lodge

We had a great time in the lodge. The staff was very polite and accommodating. During our stay we enjoyed the pool and the food in the restaurant. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The lodges are built like a traditional Cambodian house, but in a modern way, which makes it special compared to a "normal" hotel room. The internet could be better, but it wasn't a big issue.

The hotel is very beautiful with lovely and helpful staff! Wherever you go somebody is already there to either offer you some nice little somethings or help you with any request you might have. The restaurant offers a good choice of local and western food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel also helped us organize two days of amazing trips around the temple area with our guide Sinet and our driver. Both were as well very accommodating and had great knowledge of the area! I would definitely recommend the hotel and the tour with Sinet

Phum Khmer Lodge is a truly magical place. The lodges and property are beautiful. Photos truly can't capture just how stunning this place is. The staff are extremely friendly, professional, and communicative. They assisted us with local recommendations for dining and activities and coordinated a private tour guide for some of the local temples. The tour guide, Kai, that Phum Khmer arranged for us was world-class. He speaks fluent English, he has deep cultural and local knowledge, he's friendly and professional, and he and his driver did everything in their power to make my wife feel comfortable during a full day of temple tours in the spring heat. We can't recommend Kai enough. It is clear that Phum Khmer is a labor of love and that everyone involved takes great pride in their work. Thank you to Meng, Kim, Nano, Lipton, and the rest of the staff. We feel so lucky to have found you. You knocked it out of the park.

I am so so happy I found this on Air b&b. We were picked up by the owner for the airport then taken on a small personalised tour of a local community. Understanding the culture and how people live. Making brooms and mats. Highly recommend if you can squeeze this into your trip. Very attentive staff, stunning lodges. You could not want for anything else. The hotel arranged a private sunrise tour to Ankor wat with Mr Kai as our guide. Amazing! Kai was just fantastic and so knowledgeable. The hotel also arranged a packed breakfast for us to have after the first temple. If you get the chance to go to Siem reap 100% recommend.

My friend and I were staying at this hotel during our holiday in Siem Reap. This hotel was so beautiful with khmer ancient house style and we had a great stay here. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We did temple tour with our guide from the hotel. Sinet was our friendly and helpful guide and he was so knowledgeable and very good to my friend’s child. His English was excellent and also he took many good photos for us too.

Great Laocation with a very helpful staff, cosy a**osphäre and spotless clean. Interesting tips for the first day (e.g. NGO APOPO, ..) Wonderful day trip to Ankor Wat with our tourguide Mr. Kai, who was really nice, very good english speaking. It was a pleasure to spend the tour with him. The Lodge is highly recommended.

If you ever visit Siem Reap, this is the place to stay at! We stayed at Phum Khmer Lodge for 4 days and I would truly recommend this place! A lovely little complex with a nice pool, clean facilities and very kind and helpful staff. The best thing with this booking was the personnel. They were really helpful and service minded and provided a warm and welcoming feeling during the entire stay. A special warm thank you to the bartender that played our wishes of songs and did excellent cocktails. The breakfast and the rooms were also top-class. I will not hesitate to come back in the future. One of the most beautiful lodgings we have ever stayed at, Phum Khmer Lodge is a handful of gorgeously restored classic wooden homes built in traditional Khmer style, with each designed to reflect a particular regional aesthetic or approach. While designed to reflect centuries-old architectural traditions, they certainly don't lack in modern amenities, with very comfortable beds, great and huge showers, and strong a/c to get you through the hot Siem Reap days. The grounds are just as lovely as the homes, with wonderful landscaping and flowers, and a lovely pool. Each member of the staff are also very helpful and personable, and the breakfasts are quite extensive. We were fortunate enough to stay during New Year's Eve, and took part in a memorable dinner celebration there, where we got to meet the owner, who shared his knowledge and passion of traditional Khmer architecture and homes. Phum Khmer Lodge is surprisingly also one of the few lodges and resorts in Siem Reap actually owned by a Cambodian. Our only regret is only spending two days there, as we were sad to leave such a magical space.

A beautiful place with an amazing a**osphere. Remote from the center, but this is purely an advantage. About 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes Tuk Tuk and you are on Pub Street. Super, authentic Khmer houses that will make your stay in Siem Reap special. What we will remember most is the staff, always smiling, extremely polite and hospitable young people. They share good humor and optimism with you every day. Super pool where you can relax after a day of exploring the temples of Angkor. Delicious breakfasts and that lovely breakfast box when you go to Angkor Wat for sunrise - I love it! I highly recommend it!
