We loved the surrounding area of the hotel. Nice sunset at the marina and with a view of our neighour, Malaysia. So near yet so far to see Malaysia across. Our deluxe room come with shared garden with other guest’s rooms. Nice view from here and sitting outside at night to relax.
Overall, we like the service provided by the hotel staff who are friendly and helpful. Will go back for next staycation!

The area was beautiful and calm. Very relaxing. If after pass 10pm and you are hungry have travel out quite far….

The hotel was good and clean. It's just the wifi is not that good so just rely on my mobile data all time and they don't let my friend go in because they say I was just the one written on the reservation that we are two people checking in the booking reservation maybe there's a miscommunication between the hotel staff The ambiance is good also the pool was great and the lighthouse is also picturesque. Also the food very good.

Not expecting viewing, but great sunsets next to the light house~ nice waitstaff in the restaurant! Free tasting breakfast!

After we checked in, everything was almost great except that there was a group of drunkens and druggies next door who partied from 1pm till late 11pm. Called the front counter twice and finally someone went to check and warned them. We were wondering whether the group would cause safety issues to us throughout the night. Have child with us.
However this experience does not goes well with the hotel safety and hope more could be done.
Other than that the place was ok actually.

Prob one of the most interesting staycations I have! Remote location, but that's why we really enjoyed . Love the fishing experience (ya, I think I haven't fished at breakwater for really long) and so it's pretty fun for me. Rooms are nostalgically spacious, prob due to the pandemic situations quite a lot of facilities are "out of order". Would definitely book again, and hopefully their jacuzzi, lifts, beer bar, snooker pool, bowling etc would be back in service.

This 3 star hotel is better then any other 5 star hotel i have ever stayed. The hotel theme is old like old England theme. Despite that the room and places is very very clean! The food is very nice! Totally recommend to eat at Captain Table. The complimentary breakfast is great as well. If i were to say is that the free fishing is kinda hard due to the check in time is 3pm and also not sure where to find the place to change the ticket for free baits... There no clear direction stated.. But the view of sunset is gorgeous! Be sure to be at the wharf before 6.40pm if you want to see the whole sun setting!! Overall a very very enjoyable and breathtaking staycation! Love it!!

I like the surroundings and the nice view for sunset. Food is good and affordable especially the Captain Chinese Restaurant 5 course meal. The room is clean but very dated. Service is average. I will go back for the food and sunset again soon.

I have quite an experience. Didnt know bout this place till we were told & reccomended by a friend. Enjoy fishing as a couple .its was raining heavily but manage to caught big fish , baby stingray & crabs .Re visiting again december as a family staycation . Thanks RM hotel.
