Hotel Alfieri

My wife and I stayed in this hotel from 12 - 15 October 2023. It could not have been better. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful and the breakfast was excellent! It was a member of staff on reception who gave us the highlight of our stay in suggesting that we catch a boat from Sirmione to Lazise and then walk to Garda before taking the return boat to Sirmione. It was a beautiful day and one to remember. We would highly recommend this hotel.

We were made very welcome and the rooms were very clean and tidy. Breakfast was very good with plenty of food options and plenty of seating capacity

Such a lovely welcome when we arrived at this beautiful hotel from Lowry ( receptionist). Lovely place to stay. Exceptionally clean and she catered for us to such a high standard. Rooms are adequate and comfortable beds. We were at the back . Only slight issue is at around 6am the kitchen staff did make a noise and wakened us . Luckily we’re early risers so not too difficult It may be something to work on for guests who want a longer lie.? A stones throw from the beach and lovely restaurants near by. Would recommend for couples but perhaps not families ? We will be returning. Thankyou so much for a beautiful stay. Donna from Scotland

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely hotel. Martha was so friendly and that big smile on our arrival, it was lovely to get such a warm welcome. Martha her colleague (cannot remember his name) were so friendly to us, were always delighted to see us at all times, the big smiles, chat and just so so helpful. All reception staff were lovely. When Martha and her colleague heard we would be checking out early for our return flight, they were arranging a breakast pack for us but then arranged for us to eat in the breakfast room. This was so nice and a great start to our day. Theres always one....and that was the man who worked in the bar/front desk at night - he was unfriendly and just not nice. All areas were clean and tidy at all times and the cleaning staff were lovely. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. It was great having air conditioning in the room. We had a fridge which was great. Breakfast every morning was fantastic, a wonderful selection of hot food, cold meat cheese salads, selection of fruit and juices, a coffee machine, choice of various teas and the desserts were just amazing. A great start to our day. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We felt the staff whether that was the cleaners, restaurant staff or any other staff were always there when you needed them, it was lovely. There was a pool on the roof of the Hotel, which was lovely with a bar. There was a lovely seating area at front and back of the hotel. The location was good. We went to the Castle and the shuttle bus was not too far from the hotel. The bus stop for Venice, Verona etc. was not very far either. There was various restaurants within walking distance to the Hotel. We had a wonderful Holiday and would highly recommend and visit Hotel Alfieri again.

Beautiful hotel, really lovely communal areas with high quality furniture. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was excellent. Air con necessary and saved us! The breakfast was great each morning, really good choices and fresh. The staff could not be more helpful and so friendly. A fantastic stay and I am sure we will return.

Myself and 3 girlfriends visited Lake Garda September 2023 and chose to book to stay at Hotel Alfieri for our visit, we were not disappointed. The staff were so friendly, all areas were clean and tidy at all times and whilst we were at breakfast every morning we came back to a lovely clean and tidy room. Breakfast was just what you need with a selection of hot and cold and fruit etc. We felt the staff whether that was the cleaners, restaurant staff or any other staff were always there when you needed them but just not ‘in your face’ at all, seeing how clean everything was we never noticed any cleaners, it was lovely. Location wise we found it excellent, we went to the castle and the shuttle for this was just around the corner, as was the bus stop for Verona and Lezisa where we had day visits. There were various restaurants in walking distance, not as many as other areas but plenty for the nights we needed. All in all we had such a wonderful trip, we would definitely recommend and visit Hotel Alfieri again.

We have just returned after spending 5 fabulous nights here. Having stayed in a few 3* hotels in the past Hotel Alfieri was exceptional. Such a wonderful hotel, room lovely with air con. Breakfast was great and the rooftop pool so good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a 45 min walk into the old town or the bus stop is a 5 min walk and 10 min journey. Will definitely return to Lake Garda and stay at this hotel again.
