Maritimo Beach Hotel

Провели 4 ночи в отеле. Комната прекрасная, номер 611, прямо рядом с маленьким бассейном (есть еще большой, главный, с видом на море). Территория отеля очень ухожена, тенистые улочки, все в зелени, множество зон отдыха с шезлонгами с видом на море.Море в 30-50 метрах, но это не пляж. Пляж чуть в стороне, в чудесной лагуне без волн, чистый, песочек, всего минута ходьбы от отеля. В 200 метрах отличный супермаркет - в нем есть все! включая одежду и купальники. Отличная таверна Амелия, тоже в 200 метрах. По другую сторону лагуны (пешком) множество таверн и круглосуточных баров, есть терраса над лагуной, вечером там особенно красиво. Кто-то писал привозить чайник и полотенца. Все есть в номере, и чайник и полотенца для пляжа. Завтрак: одинаковый каждый день, разные только кашки. Глазунья и бекон, салатов нет, есть нарезанные помидоры и огурцы. Сыры, маслины, йогурты, фрукты. И вкусные местные пончики и слоеные сырные пирожки. Хороший завтрак. Из развлечений в самом отеле был вечер саксофона, танцы.. приятно. Шум моря и стрекотание цикад - лучшая музыка. Рекомендую на 100%, отличный отдых!

Lovely experience at the spa, Marina was a brilliant therapist and I have started my holiday feeling nice and refreshed! The facilities were nice and clean with a broad range of therapies to choose from. A lovely addition to a really nice time in Sisi. Thank you!! ✨

A very nice and well-kept hotel located right next to the sea. Very nice and professional service, I especially recommend Mrs. Eva from the SPA. In the middle of the complex there is a small or very charming garden with beautifully scented shrubs. A lot of varied food, the children were especially delighted with the ice cream with each dinner. I highly recommend it!

The hotel is immaculately presented and nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff, whether this is reception, restaurant, bar or housekeeping. The room we stayed in was a sea view room and was well equipped for our stay. The food was good at times the choice isn’t as wide as other hotels I have stayed in, however, there is enough to satisfy most tastes. We visited the spa during our week stay and both Elena and Dimitris were attentive, pleasant therapists and afterward left us feeling relaxed and well rested. I would highly recommend a visa it to both the hotel and spa. It was just a shame the weather was not what I would have hoped for.

This hotel is clean, amazing location, amazing staff. George and Antiona on reception so helpful and accomodating. Lenora and Alphina working at the pool bar are two of the most amazing ladies I have ever met on holiday, they are so lovely and certainly made my holiday, I will miss our chats. Rooms clean, housekeeping good. Buffet breakfast plenty to choose from, very enjoyable. Evening meal, buffet, also good but can get a little repetitive but so cheap to eat out so I would eat one night in hotel and one night in town. Pool freezing maybe they should consider heating it in the cooler months. Bathrobes would be a nice touch in cooler months as you don't need air con so would be nice to have a robe. Rocky beach nearby but there is a small sandy path into the sea and no rocks you just need to look for it. I have a bad knee and use a walking stick but I managed to get into the sea. It was beautiful. Sissi is a small harbour town so if your looking for nightlife then this is not for you. It has lots of lovely tavernas, it is the most relaxed calm and chilled place and I loved it. I would most definitely stay here again and would recommend it. Totally amazing, loved every minute of it. All of staff, reception, dining /breakfast room,housekeeping and pool bar just wonderful.

We arrived late and were sent by reception to the restaurant to get some food, the staff were excellent and friendly the food was great and we got drinks, to be paid for. Back to reception we completed check in and were given a suite for one night only, it was fantastic, next morning after breakfast we went to reception to get our room and staff came and moved our belongings into our new room, very friendly and helpful. The room was nicely decorated and clean, with Wi-Fi and a tv, although we don’t use tv on holiday. The maid was very friendly and came everyday with clean towels and cleaned the room. The restaurant was excellent, with a good variety of food and all very well cooked and presented. Something for everyone. The restaurant staff were lovely and efficient nothing was too much trouble for them. Reception was great, Antonia was always smiling and would help with anything that she could. All in all excellent holiday.

As others have said the meals are ok. Not 4 star but plenty to eat breakfast was great but the evening meals could do with a bit more variation. The staff are brilliant and the rooms were spotless, cleaned every day, even though a little random on the times. If you want a nice beach don't go! You can get into the sea via a tiny non sandy bit and it does have sunbeds on the edge of the harbor that is protected and nice and calm for swimming. If you have a little trouble walking this may not be the place for you, to get into the village is a ten minute walk with hills. I paid for a sea view that was great if you stayed standing to look over a bush! The hotel gardens are amazing, and the pools are sea water and freezing. Lastly i would say maybe not the place to take young kids, there is not very much for them to do, but all in all a great place to stay.

The hotel premises, room and location are fantastic.. no complaints. Accept for the nearest supermarket they have a group of workers that follow everyone around incase you steal. It makes you feel very uncomfortable. We were told about this by other holiday makers. Go to the other supermarket a bit further up they are lovely. A few things happened at the hotel that made it not as enjoyable. We were half board and told the first night if we missed breakfast we could get a lunch box as a substitute. Just to let reception know the night before. We did this the second night and I was told I got this wrong or misunderstood but from reading the review before me this is clearly not the case. So we missed out on this several times over our 10 night stay. Annoying because we never made breakfast because my mum has heath issues so we could never make it but half board was the only option when we booked. Dinner is either inside or outside on the terrace. One night we were taken to an inside table right in front of all the food with hot lights and next to the station where they scraped dirty dishes. I asked if we could sit outside because I could see a table free. I was abruptly told no there are no tables outside that’s why I sat you here! For the duration of our dinner the outside table sat free the whole time, even as we left. It was in clear view. We felt like we were in a school canteen and the teacher wouldn’t let us move, just odd behaviour The next night we went and sat on the terrace because they had entertainment and the same girl that sat us at dinner didn’t come to our table once, we saw her go to nearly every other table and completely bypass us! She wouldn’t even look in our direction. I actually had to ask if it was table service for drinks. It was! It was just strange behaviour that left a bad taste. It felt personal at that point. Obviously it might not have been but when little things happen like that it just puts you off. We also went to eat something at the snack bar at nearly 5pm one day to be told they were closed for food, however it states on the welcoming letter drinks and snack bar open till 6.pm. So we had to change plans. The maid service was also hit and miss, you are given paper cups in the rooms and these were hardly ever replaced, we had to go and find her and ask. We also had to ask for certain toiletries and coffee to be re stocked. We had to ask for our outside terrace floor to be cleaned as we had been there for at least 5 days at that point and a drain pipe that ran down the wall had leaked dirty water so a brown stain was outside for days. We saw her sweeping and mopping outside other rooms so again we were were like What the hell at this point. I understand the maids work hard and probably have a time limit, I work in a hotel so I understand but when you have guests staying for 10 nights things should be replaced more frequently we just felt annoying having to ask her we shouldn’t have to. Beautiful place, amazing memories. Thank you for having us! Hotel has two pools, one is bigger and great for swimming. There is a terrace for breakfasts (7:30-10) and dinners (18:30-21). The food is open buffet, you can choose from variety of traditional Greek food, as well as more general types of food. Everything was of great quality, very tasty and desserts were excellent. Rooms are clean, have tv and small fridge. They are cleaned every day before the noon. You can also borrow sunbathing towels or do the laundry. We were there last week and it wasn’t very crowded - on the contrary - the pools were mostly empty and there was plenty of space for sunbathing as well. In general, employees were kind, professional and helpful. Two times we could not make it to the breakfast because of whole day trips we had (i.e., Santorini) and we got lunch boxes instead - a couple of very good sandwiches, cakes and fruits. Of course, we reported that we will miss the breakfast the day before to the receptionist. The hotel is also located in a very small village, that has a couple of pubs and restaurants along the coast, 5 min walk from hotel. We also found local food to be of great quality. It is about 1 hours trip to Heraklion. And there is really no other cities close, so being there was even more escape from everyday life and all. All in all, very good place to rest - I totally recommend it!
