High Point Inn

I loved staying here with my family. It’s in an excellent location in Door County (with mini golf just steps away!). The accommodations perfectly fit my family. I like having a kitchen plus two bedrooms and two bathrooms with young children. The indoor pool was great as was the outdoor playground. The staff was always kind and polite.

An amazing visit to Door County from the minute we turned into the parking lot! We were embraced by the beautiful and meticulously tended gardens. Greeted by the exceptional staff and experienced world class accommodations and enmities. Truly a remarkable experience. Thank you Missy, Faye and your staff for making our visit special.

My family has been coming to Door County for generations, but some how we have never stayed here! It was one of the few hotels in Ephraim available for Fyr Bal earlier this summer, when my husband and I made our late reservations. One of our local friends encouraged us to check it out and we are so glad we did! We were SO impressed by our stay at High Point Inn! We booked the 1 bedroom whirlpool suite and it was the perfect size for my husband and I and our 2 year old daughter. It was so nice to have a suite to have the space to cook, spread out, and for our daughter to run around. Having a separate bedroom when traveling with kids is a game changer. We had no idea that our room would have an attached patio overlooking a forested area. What a pleasant surprise that was! The patio also had a table and chairs and was the perfect space for a quiet breakfast or afternoon reading. The suite was incredibly clean and spacious. The hotel had no vacancy during our stay, however, it was very quiet! Something we really enjoyed. We appreciated (especially our daughter) the indoor and outdoor pools as well as the playground. This place is just perfect for families and couples alike! High Point Inn is incredibly clean, welcoming, and close to so much! It is also very affordable compared to similar resorts on the peninsula. We were so impressed with our stay, we plan on making High Point Inn our home-base for our future Door County stays.

We stayed 4 nights in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo. We had room 219, located on the back corner. The balcony was absolutely huge! It faced a bunch of trees, so it was very private. I would definitely request this room again. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. The whirlpool tub was nice to soak in at the end of a long day. The kitchen is fully furnished, and I would recommned shopping at Piggly Wiggly just up the street and making your meals in the condo to avoid long restraunt waits in the summer season. The location of the Inn is so close to many of the places you'll want to see during your visit, including just a few minute drive to Sister Bay. No housekeeping provided, but they will pick up garbage outside your door and drop off towels, if needed. It would be nice if each unit had a broom to help clean up the kitchen, but that's my only complaint. The pool was clean, and hot tub was great. Small shop by the lobby for things you may have forgotten or some small souvenirs or food. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My family and I have been coming to the High Point for many, many years - they have always met and exceeded our expectations in every way. I am a stickler when it comes to cleanliness in a hotel - and the High Point always delivers on high quality cleanliness and comfort. We recommend the High Point to our family and friends, hands down when it comes to lodging they will always have our vote, as the very BEST lodging Door Co. has to offer!!
