Sitia Beach City Resort & Spa

Location was very good but the room not very clean smelt weird when we first arrived

The hotel is located in a perfect location with amazing view to the sea. Also the beach is just a minute away, which makes it easy to go the sea straight from the hotel. The hotel staff is super friendly and always very helpful.

The massage was very relaxing, the facilities are clean and pretty. The ambiance in the room was very nice. The service was kind and professional. Its inside the hotel so the access is very easy. The price is also very affordable. Over all the experience was very pleasant.

A very nice stay in a charming location. Sitia has an excellent beach and a bustling waterfront just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is good and the staff are extremely obliging.

We stayed at the Sitia Beach City Resort hotel for 10 days and had a great time. It was comfortable, clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. Great selection of local and international food available for breakfast. We tended to use the pool bar for snacks at lunchtime and eat out in the evening as there were plenty of restaurants to walk to so we didn't eat in the main restaurant other than for breakfast. The hotel's entertainment team were pretty active and vocal offering plenty of activities such as water polo, aqua aerobics and pool games if you like that sort of thing so it was pretty hectic around the main pool area. They spoke mostly in French, with the occasional bit of English as it turned out to be a French al inclusive resort. Not a problem for us as we were out a fair bit anyway seeing as we were in Sitia for a friends wedding with celebrations spread over a few days. If you want to sunbathe somewhere quieter then the pool at the back of the hotel is best. Great holiday resort which we highly recommend!

The room was simple although the high price . The chief receptionist was rude and always ask us if we were costumers . They hadn’t enough personel in spa so we coudnt schedule any appointment !! The food on the buffet was okay

This hotel may be maximum a 3 star. I really wonder who could have possibly given this place a 5 stars… Ants in the bathroom, impossible to sleep until 1 am for entertainment noise & guests shouting until late. The hotel is 2 floors so u hear everything. Towels look old and used. It reminds me of the hotels of the 80s. I asked to move rooms but no further accommodation was provided. We are happy to leave in 2 days…. To get to the beach you cross under the bridge of a trafficked street near garbage cans drain…

My partner and I stayed here for 10 nights from the end of July to beginning of June. Overall a very lovely stay although we did struggle with the language barrier due to everything being French focused. Food: Breakfast in our opinion wasn’t worth going to and so we only ever had it before an excursion. Exactly the same every day and wasn’t the best. Lunch/Dinner - compared to the breakfast this was brilliant. Whilst there isn’t a huge variety to choose from the quality of food itself was brilliant. Always something being freshly prepared for both lunch and dinner such as Caesar Salads, Cheesecake, Sushi etc. Different themes every night which gave you a good variety. Drinks : not a great deal to choose from if you’re all inclusive, the best choices you had to pay for but still something for everyone. Water is apparently drinkable from the taps in your room although bottled water is available from the shops (6 large bottles for €2) or easily available at the shops walking distance away. Room - we opted for the sea view which we are very pleased with. Beautiful to sit out on the balcony in the evenings. Rooms were a decent size and well presented. Always cleaned if you wanted them to be and equally the maids would not bother you if you left a sign on the door. Mini fridge and hairdryer although no iron. Pools: clean and always a sun bed available without getting up at a ridiculous hour. Entertainment: we found that the entertainment wasn’t the best in our opinion but have to give it to the people who are there all day everyday working hard to always provide something. Everything was also in French which we struggled with. Entertainment during the day based on water sports or other activities which was nice. You get given towels which you can change as and when you need to. Excursions- highly recommend the kayaking trip and trip to Richtis Gorge. Excellent value for money. Our only difficulty the language barrier again due to not speaking French when trying to find everything out for the excursions. Local area - local area itself is very lovely and so is the beach(they have sun beds specifically for guests of this hotel). Excellent food and value for money at the local restaurants and bars. Spa : the spa ladies were very lovely. We had a Cretan Massage and received products as a part of this, we both highly recommend this. They also provide help with your skin if you need it and can tailor products to your needs for your stay. We wouldn’t say this is a 5 star hotel however it was nice and we did have a pleasant time here.

Very polite and friendly people. All of them did everything for us to have a beautiful vacation. We had with us , our 15 months boy and we didn't miss anything. With " all inclusive" service, we ate everything, and taste very good. Once a week they arrange a Greek night with live music and dance!
