Geranion Village

As a British family of 3 we spent a week here and we loved the location, views, landscaping, nature and the general feel of the place. Food here was excellent if a little repetitive after a few days but hygiene seemed excellent. Not so good was the noise from adjoining rooms and standard of some of the fittings in the room although it has to be said that at the price we paid we really weren’t expecting a palace! Importantly it felt safe and secure. What upset us most though was our last night! Dinner is advertised as 1900-2100 and so with our 4 year old daughter not feeling so good we didn’t make it down until 2030. As we were seated away from the restaurant we were surprised to find at 2105 that everything had been packed away meaning we couldn’t have any main or desert course! I understand that the time had gone past 2100 but on previous nights when regular guests had been present the whole buffet stayed out whilst people were in the restaurant, and if someone had simply explained it was going to be removed we’d have had no issues with serving ourselves then! The owners son had been really charming up until the point I queried this and bizarrely became quite aggressive! It really was a sad way to end a lovely holiday. If I could, I’d choose to rate at 3.5 as it would be a 4 but for the last night.

Amazing food, freshly cooked with a wide variety of choice. Clean, spacious room, with a glorious view from the balcony, only downfall the bed was slightly uncomfortable. Staff accomodating and helpful. The grounds are lush and green, truly beautiful. Eating outside watching the sunset is stunning. Local beaches are great, we saw many fish whilst snorkeling. The nearest beach is accessible by foot, 20 min walk or the free shuttle bus. We explored other beaches too, these are accessible by foot, if you carefully plan your route using small back roads; trying to walk along the main road is rather hair-raising and hazardous! Would recommend - wonderful place!

Stayed three nights in october. Good breakfast, didn't eat dinner at the hotel.

Friendly stuff and management, very beautiful place with great traditional touch, great for families, a la carte restaurant was a great choice every time. I will recommend it for view, for beautiful details, for great moments in family.

Haben das Hotel im September 2022 zu Dritt besucht. Die Anlage ist ein Traum. Alle Gebäude sind in eine traumhafte Gartenanlage mit Traubenreben, Zitronen und Orangenbäumen eingebettet. Der Pool war sehr erfrischend. Das Zimmer war einfach aber sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen und auch das Abendessen insbesondere der Salatbereich war sehr gut. Ein Mietwagen ist zwingend erforderlich um die Umgebung erkunden zu können. Wir würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder auswählen.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Geranion Village und es war wieder so schön! Wie auch in meiner ersten Bewertung vom letzten Jahr kann ich immer nur sagen, wie schön es in diesem Hotel ist. Wir werden immer wieder mal herkommen! Unbedingt einen Mietwagen buchen, unser Tipp ist "4Rent Thessaloniki", der beste Mietwagenvermieter in Chalkidiki. Günstig, unkompliziert, VK ohne Selbstbeteiligung und ohne Kreditkarte. Auch dort haben wir schon zum 2. Mal gebucht und sind begeistert!

Waren 10 Tage im Geranion und sind rundum zufrieden gewesen. Ein paar kleine Abstriche gab es, aber die fanden wir nicht besonders dramatisch. Das Abendessen war sehr lecker, das Personal stets bemüht und freundlich. Frühstück war ok, evtl könnte man etwas Abwechslung reinbringen... Der Strand ist etwas entfernt, aber gut zu Fuß zu erreichen, ansonsten fährt mehrmals täglich ein Shuttle Bus. Unser Zimmer war zwar ein "VIP Meerblick" dennoch ziemlich einfach, der Ausblick jedoch fantastisch. Rund um ein gelungener, schöner Urlaub! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Das Hotel ist wirklich toll. Das Personal ist sehr, sehr freundlich und bemüht, hat uns Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben und einen günstigen Mietwagen organisiert. Das Frühstück ist gut und das Abendessen wirklich toll (frisch zubereitet, auch gute Auswahl für Personen, die kein Fleisch essen) und authentisch griechische Küche. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber und werden täglich gereinigt. Das Hotel liegt zwar nicht direkt am Strand, bietet aber regelmäßige Busshuttels zum Strand an. Ein Mietwagen ist empfehlenswert, da die Landschaft sehr schön und abwechslungsreich ist und man so die Möglichkeit hat, auch abgelegene Strände zu besuchen.
