Best Western Malmia Hotel

The hotel is very centrally located with a large selection of restaurants nearby. The service was impeccable as was the breakfast restaurant (unfortunately no juice). Our hotel room was very small. One long side of the bed was against the wall. The hotel has a (very cramped) garage.

We stayed one night and it was ok, would not say it’s worth the price. Very outdated in general, breakfast had different choices but for me as a vegan and gluten-free a disappointment. As a suggestion make vegan/gf pancakes, have premade oatmeal instead of offering to make it in the microwave (taste like poop), candles at the tables for cosyness AND switch out the plastic bowls and bigger cups for tea, would make the experience much better. The staff seemed very friendly, big plus for animal friendly hotel and garage (because it was negative 20 outside) just be careful, the garage is tight!

A Best Western at a great location. The hotel is simple but clean. Parking was a bit of a hassle. Parking is located beneath the hotel and an office building. You need to reserve a parking space, otherwise you will have a challenge with parking. The beds were comfy and the breakfast was fresh and complete.

Its a nice hotell close to everything , There is only à small lobby with some sandwhiches and drinks, breakfast is ok, Room cleaning is nice, you can go gym to stadshotellet because its the same owner.

BW Malmia was great choice for use while staying in Shelleftea because of location. Staff was excellent and the breakfast buffet was very good. Room was hot, however, due to very high local temps. Could be noisy at night in the town square in front of hotel.

Obsługa jest bardzo pomocna, natomiast jest parę rzeczy które można by podciągnąć w hotelu. Obsługa w restauracji hotelowej jest różna, pamiętam pana z którym rano bardzo mi się miło rozmawiało, zawsze miły, pomocny, uśmiechnięty, bardzo miło go wspominam. Samo śniadanie w hotelu nie jest za specjalne, ale to chyba wynika ze szwedzkiej natury, jakoś niespecjalnie hotelowe śniadania w Szwecji mi smakują. Szczególnie doskwierało mi brak różnorodności, spędziłam tam 6 tygodni i było to dosyć ciężkie doświadczenie. Pokoje są dosyć słabo oświetlone i ciemne co szczególnie w porze zimowej daje się we znaki. Na pewno przydałby im się lekki remont i odświeżenie, i na pewno zmiana kolorów na bardziej jasne. Zdecydowanym plusem są ciemne zasłony, które w trakcie białych nocy pomagają komfortowo spać. Na wyposażeniu pokoju brakowało mi małego czajnika i lodówki. Suszarka do włosów była zepsuta. W hotelowym lobby jest dostępna kawa herbata, hotel ma swój własny, podziemny parking, co jest dużym plusem szczególnie, że znajduje się samym centrum miasta przy głównym placu.
