Hotel Kastro

We loved this boutique hotel on Skiathos. It is so convenient to the port and everything in Skiathos town. A very short walk. The owner Lia is so incredibly helpful and caring. The small complimentary breakfast (breads, biscuits, fruit, cereal, coffee, tea) was perfect for us each morning. It is located on a very quiet, beautiful side street. The room was extremely clean. We will return!

This was last minute booking but was so great to get the place. Friendly hosts welcome us and show us around. Good size room for a family of 3 with a proper bed for a child! The location is great, quiet but close to the restaurant and shop area. P.S. check Google before you go, we picked the shortest way but it includes coming up and down the hill. Better go the one that is kind of long but it flat :)

Now sitting in Skiathos Airport writing this review. This is the first time my wife and I have travelled without our children and we booked the hotel without a pool for the first time. Turned out the Kastro Hotel was superb for our needs, the location in the town, the quality and cleanliness of the room and the friendliness of Lia the manager were all first class. The room we stayed in was opposite a gyros restaurant across a narrow alley which seemed different initially however due to the room being so modern there was no noise from the street and that was part of the fun of town living. The location of the hotel is fantastic, with a short walk to everywhere you needed to go. It's really quiet location and Lia looks after her guests comfort very well.the entrance into the hotel is really pretty and inviting. We would not hesitate to return in the future.

This little cozy hotel in downtown Skiathos has a special place in our hearts! We stayed for only a week but our experience was truly wonderful. This hotel is located in a quiet street steps away from the main street. Everything you need is walking distance. The property is very well kept with so many special details and cozy decorations. The rooms are extremely clean and nicely decorated with all the essentials to make your stay comfortable. A light breakfast is served daily. The owner/property manager, Ms.Lia, goes over and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. She was truly AMAZING! We really felt at home in the heart of Skiathos. I truly recommend this hotel!

Taxi from the airport to hotel cost 12euros and the return cost 14euro. Hotel is situated just off the main street and in a superb position, very quiet and peaceful. Great selection of restaurants and bars within minutes walk. Lia met us upon arrival and showed us to our room. First impressions, small room, very small balcony, traditional Greek furniture with limited storage space and typical Greek shower / toilet. Breakfast which Lia supplies at no additional cost consists of pastries, croissants, tea, coffee, juice, jams and honey. The roof terrace is a fantastic place to relax, beautifully laid out, plenty of chairs / tables but limited cover from the sun. Lia is a fantastic host, always available day & night, nothing is a problem and very helpful. 10/10 Do try some of the family run tavernas round by the new port, welcoming and delicious food.

Stayed at the Kastro Hotel in August & what a quaint very personal little hotel it is . The owner Lia is rather special in the sense she looks after you like your close friends making sure every aspect of your stay is a wonderful experience. The hotel is right in the heart of the town among the amazing streets offering the best in eateries, however because its tucked away down a quaint little street is very quiet & peaceful. Nothing absolutely nothing is any trouble to Lia . My husband hurt his ankle so we had to return early one evening , however Lia was at hand with an ice bucket & towels, it's the going the extra mile that's so special . A must is the roof top garden where you can sit of an evening to relax ,surrounded with art that Lia has painted herself. Recommended if your looking for a perfect location in the heart of Skiathos with exceptional service by the owners.

The Hotel is in the heart of Skiathos, seconds away from mini markets, shops, restaurants and bars, depending on one's needs. The rooms are beautifully quaint and very well cleaned/ maintained. The owners, Lia & Stavro have all the answers from which beaches are best to visit and when, where to eat and the best routes to get around, they can even tell you what kind of vehicle you'll need to visit certain hidden gems! We all enjoyed our stay there and would recommend Hotel Kastro to everyone wishing to visit the island. We're actually considering making this place an annual destination! An absolute pleasure.

Abbiamo soggiornato 10 giorni presso l’hotel Kastro.Situato in pieno centro ma in una via laterale quindi molto tranquillo.Il posto è molto carino,curato e pulitissimo.La nostra camera nonostante fosse un po’ piccolina era molto ben organizzata con tutto l’essenziale.Lia,la padrona di casa è una persona molto simpatica e disponibilissima per qualsiasi cosa.Con nostra sorpresa Lia offre agli ospiti anche una piacevolissima colazione nonostante non sia inclusa in fase di prenotazione.Lo consigliamo vivamente e se dovessimo tornare a Skiathos di certo torneremo da Lia. Grazie per il bellissimo soggiorno.

Un pezzo di Grecia in un hotel. Camere luminose,spaziose e pulitissime.Curate in ogni dettaglio. Cortile da sogno. Accoglienza superlativa da Lia,la proprietaria che ha sempre una coccola per i viaggiatori. Una delle strutture dove poter vivere in relax la propria vacanza in un ambiente davvero speciale a due passi dal centro.Consigliatissima
