We stayed for 5 days at the Blue diamond!!!! Staff was EXCELLENT!!!! Food was INCREDIBLE, and the environment was PERFECT to relax.

Our room was great. There were only 3 restaurants but the food was amazing. Nothing to do in the evenings though unless you plan your own excursions. We didn’t mind because we just wanted to chill out and relax. There is a spa and a cenote too. Overall we couldn’t find anything to complain out. Wonderful stay!

This is an adult only beautiful hotel surrounded by wild life and very quiet. Perfect for resting. The food is really good.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our time at the Blue Diamond. It was a nice, relaxing getaway vacation. As others have said, this is a good place if you want to disconnect from a busy life and have some peace and quiet; not a party resort. I just wouldn't call it a 5 star hotel. The bed was quite hard and there were a few things damaged (like a patio chair). The spa was a bit disappointing too, as the sauna was barely hot, the hammam wasn't working, and the pool was cold. Positives were really excellent food and very kind workers/good service. It was also fun to wake up and see monkeys in the trees just outside our suite and other wildlife around the resort. So overall, a very nice place to vacation, but expect more of a 3-star hotel quality rooms/amenities.

Our stay overall was excellent. It was exactly what we were looking for, a smaller, quiet, all inclusive hotel. The food quality was excellent, the staff and service were also exceptional. The location in the jungle and around the cenote/lagoon was unique and cool! The only comment we have for improvement is the property does need a minor reno. The design and architecture are still very much on point, but there has been some wear and tear that needs attention.
Definitely recommend if you're looking for a quieter, more secluded vacay, and would stay here again!

We stayed at the Blue Diamond for just under a week in February. I was a bit apprehensive from some of the reviews and considering how much we were spending, but the resort exceeded our expectations. Of course some areas of the hotel seems a bit worn, but it's a resort next to the ocean, so what did you expect? The staff and the service made up for everything... everyone was extremely helpful and beyond amazing and we would definitley stay here again.

The property is a unique tranquil stay with its natural beauty. The staff and services were excellent. My wife and I enjoyed our time there. Our only negative was that the dining experience fell short of the overall ambience of the property. We traveled in February and though the property was not at capacity the service seemed slow. As if they were under staffed. Soups that should have been served hot were served lukewarm. Neither of us felt that the food experience matched the amazing natural wonder of being in such a peaceful environment. Our room was spacious and the view of the lush greenier was calming. We had a very partial view of the cenote. We even saw a monkey in the trees, going about it's day. The property does provides bicycles to ride to the beach or other areas on the property which we did on several occasions. But golf carts are primarily use to get you from one place to the other. The longest we had to wait for a driver was about 5 minutes. They can seat 4 to 6 passengers. We did reserve a cenote tour which was awesome. We also reserved a massage service in the spa. Eventhough I received one of the best massages ever, the ambience was not on par with other spas. There was not an option to choose if you wanted a sport massage or target a specific muscle. The waiting area was not that relaxing, and once inside there was no real area designated to hang your clothes. But my wife and I agreed that the masseuses were excellent.
