I used this hotel for 2 days business during the B2022 Commonwealth Games. Ideally located as I was flying in and out. Very good transport links although shuttle bus was not running for duration of Games. It will start up again once Games are over. Quick, efficient check-in. Very spacious executive room on 3rd floor, spotlessly clean and well stocked with coffee and water. Good shower and bath which again were spotlessly clean. Air conditioning worked really well and maintained a great temp. The breakfast is good. I have stayed in many hotels around airports and this airy seating space along with a fresh and wide ranging choice of breakfast food and drinks is right up there. Staff were all attentive and very professional. This is the first time I have stayed here but was very impressed and would not hesitate to return.

This was our first time travelling from Birmingham Airport (we usually fly from Gatwick). We always book a hotel stay for the night before our flight and due to the proximity of the Novotel to Birmingham Airport we chose to stay here. Prior to our arrival I had looked at reviews on here and reached out to the hotel requesting interconnecting rooms (we are a family of 6 - 2 adults and 4 under 12s). We were advised that the request had been noted but could not be guaranteed. Thankfully we were allocated connecting rooms with the added bonus of an amazing view! The rooms themselves were well appointed and had ample space. I really liked the mirrored doors in the bathroom! The beds were comfy and the children who slept on the rollaway & sofa bed said they were also comfortable! Rooms were clean. All the staff we encountered were welcoming and friendly - including the gentleman who delivered our room service order (which was well presented and tasty)! At the time of writing bookings are required to dine in the restaurant (there is a menu inside the lifts which is also the room service menu). If you wish to dine inside of the airport (before security) then your options are Greggs,, M&S, Spar & Costa - the restaurants on the first floor are closed - I believe they are expanding the security area. Overall a great stay and should we fly from Birmingham again we would definitely stay again.

We stayed here after we missed our flight and had to stay near the airport for the next day. The place was exceptional. The reservation receptionist was extremely welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. The facilities were excellent, and clean, refrigerator and kettle in the room with a gym and washing machine facilities in the hotel. The TV section is very good in the room. Check-out is 12 midday which suited us less time waiting in the airport. The airport is only steps away which has grocery shopping M&S, spar and restaurants for quick bites outside the hotel. There is a tram/bus to get into Birmingham city 6kilomteres away. The price is very good and appropriate for the quality of stay.

The rooms were good and night staff were good especially staff member named ace and gokuma was let down by morning staff called zoe was very unprofessional and rude was disguisted by her service felt very intimadated by the way she dealt with my enquiry will be thinking twice next time to stay at travelodge accommodations should have gone Premier Inn or holiday Inn instead due to her racist remarks and moody behaviour.apart from that everything was OK.

Received a warm welcome at check in. Within a few minutes we were In our room which we found very clean and cozy. Bathroom was kitted out with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the shower area.Wash are has liquid soap supplied. Sleeping area had good electrical socket availability if needed. We had a kettle with tea, coffee, milk and sugar/sweetener. Wardrobes for hanging clothes with extra bedding and a hairdryer if needed. Restaurant staff like the other staff are extremely friendly and even enjoy banter with the customers. We had breakfast which is a buffet style. Food is cooked perfectly and clean with very little grease on the fried items. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. It’s very hard to find fault anyway in the hotel.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at The Arden as we we're visiting the NEC which is about a 15 minute walk away. The hotel represents excellent VFM and all the staff were very professional. We had a few drinks in the bar which had a lovely atmosphere and the leather sofa was really comfy after a day walking around the NEC! We then plumped for room service which arrived in good time and both meals were tasty, Cheeseburger for my husband and Gammon, Egg & Chips for myself. It was also really good that the member of staff that delivered our meals brought a card machine which meant we could pay for our dinner there and then, so upon checkout, we just had to drop our room card into the box and leave with nothing further required. We didn't use any of the spa facilities but I saw the pool and it looked very tempting! All in all, we'd definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

We'd booked this hotel through a website, but probably could have got a better deal if we'd gone to Ibis direct. The beauty of the hotel is that you are 2 minutes from Departures at Birmingham Airport. When you've got an early morning flight this is a definite benefit, just to get a little extra sleep before you travel. The room itself was a good size. Plenty of space for us and our two large cases. Room and bathroom were clean as well. Even better, no noise from other rooms came through (OK you will get selfish people making noise down corridors on occasion - not much can be done about that I'm afraid). Went to the bar to have a drink which was fine. There is a place to eat, but we'd eaten before leaving home. Check in and check out was really quick as well.

TV tea & coffee facilities as well as toiletries We had to pay for parking despite being residents, which is a bit off This year due to refurbishment to their restaurant there was only cereal, toast or cold croissants. Juice available but only Nescafé coffee Microwave available too Despite the above, it’s clean, it’s close to NEC Nothing is too much trouble, everyone is helpful & happy. Take always available in near by Marston Green, but hopefully the restaurant will be up & running soon. We liked it overall & booked it again

Well located for my business meeting, staff throughout were welciming and friendly. The only very minor issue I had was with the website rather than the staff as I hadn't been directed to book a table for my evening meal and therefore couldn't be accomodated on arrival after a reasonably tiring journey. I don't have issue with the way staff dealt with this but a clear direction on the website could potentially have avoided the issue

Wow! Is all I can say! We got married at The Manor Hotel in Meriden in December 2022 and it was the perfect day. Liridona Tahiri was our wedding planner. Her responsiveness and attention to detail was excellent. She never felt that any question was too daft or unimportant and always responded to my emails in a timely manner. She was approachable and kind and always had time to listen to any concerns. Because of her our day went really smoothly. All of the staff on the day were so accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure all the wedding party was happy and they had everything they needed. Nothing was too much trouble. I would just like to say, if you are booking your wedding I would 100% recommend the team at The Manor. Our guests are still telling us what a fabulous wedding we had. You can have total confidence that the team at The Manor are on your side. Even when our die-hard guests were reluctant to go to bed at 2am the staff were still lovely about it. Thank you to you all for giving us a day to remember. xx

Went to celebrate a 90th birthday Sunday lunch - lovely surroundings very much let down by the standard of the food! Miserly starter portions; over an hours wait for the main courses which was cold when they actually arrived; a whole chicken served on a platter to some of the party who had 2 infants to manage and were expected to carve it themselves (surely it should’ve been carved by a member of staff ??!!🤔); the beef was too rare for the main guest who’s 90th it was, and when she asked to have some more well done they expected just to recook the rare slices she was served; the smallest side portion of cauliflower cheese I’ve ever seen which came in yellow water and had to be sent back (at £4.50 extra which was a disgraceful cost for the small ramekin it was in !!😤); dry overcooked roast potatoes; after the fourth time of asking the extra broccoli finally arrived when most of our guests had nearly finished. Why on earth try to skimp on portions - it just aggravates guests who are paying good money for what they hope will be worth it and add to the whole enjoyable experience !! The serving staff were lovely, polite and apologetic but the attitude of the manager when the bill was, rightfully, disputed left a lot to be desired!! There are significantly better and numerous local venues for Sunday lunch !!

I was part of an all-female adult group who hired the whole property for the weekend via Air BnB. As we were coming from all over the country, the location was top priority and this guesthouse was in an excellent central location very close to the M42/M6. The property itself is clearly signposted and has lots of parking. It was quite hard to find a property that not only could sleep 11 adults but also had enough bathrooms which Haymills did, with every room being en-suite. Upon arrival, the first guest to arrive was greeted by the owner who was very friendly and showed her the basics, such as the key code to the front door (much easier than one person having to remember the key). The guesthouse is well decorated and has a modern feel throughout. The kitchen was very well stocked with cutlery, crockery, pans etc which is often an issue at some locations. There was also a coffee machine that we could use. The welcome basket was a nice touch including bottle of wine. Each room was different and some were quite small but fine for single sleepers. I stayed in the largest room which was very spacious. A few of my fellow guests mentioned that the plug points didn't fit with the furniture layout i.e. you couldn't use them easily and there was no mirror in our bedroom which would have been helpful. Our bathroom had a bath and large shower cubicle which was clean and we had towels/basic toiletries provided. The main issue we had was with the central heating which wasn't working. The host did respond quickly after being called and came to investigate. He had to concede defeat and called a plumber. Fortunately, the hot water was still working and it wasn't particularly cold for the time of year. The host did bring round several electric heaters which were enough for most, but not all, bedrooms. He did bring round a couple more the following day. Despite a visit from the plumber on the second day, the heating was not fixed during our stay. It didn't ruin it but it did mean we had to layer up and move heaters around to make sure everyone's room was warm enough. The lounge was pleasant and nicely furnished. It had a large TV which we didn't use. The large lounge doors/windows had blinds but no curtains (there was a curtain rail) so not sure if this is on the 'to do' list but curtains would have made for a warmer room (and look nicer too). The lounge door was a bit strange in that it had no handle/mechanism so was held closed by a door stop meaning that every time someone left the room, someone in the room had to push the door closed; again, a minor thing but it had a bit of an 'unfinished' feel to it. The house itself is located near the village of Hampton-in-Arden, a very attractive village. We went to the White Lion Inn on the Saturday night for a meal which was delicious. There is a train track running along the back of the property but it didn't cause any issues re noise, nor did the A452 which is a dual carriageway but surprisingly quie

You need to walk for a while to reach the bus station and restaurants. I was part of an all-female adult group who hired the whole property for the weekend via Air BnB. As we were coming from all over the country, the location was top priority and this guesthouse was in an excellent central location very close to the M42/M6. The property itself is clearly signposted and has lots of parking. It was quite hard to find a property that not only could sleep 11 adults but also had enough bathrooms which Haymills did, with every room being en-suite. Upon arrival, the first guest to arrive was greeted by the owner who was very friendly and showed her the basics, such as the key code to the front door (much easier than one person having to remember the key). The guesthouse is well decorated and has a modern feel throughout. The kitchen was very well stocked with cutlery, crockery, pans etc which is often an issue at some locations. There was also a coffee machine that we could use. The welcome basket was a nice touch including bottle of wine. Each room was different and some were quite small but fine for single sleepers. I stayed in the largest room which was very spacious. A few of my fellow guests mentioned that the plug points didn't fit with the furniture layout i.e. you couldn't use them easily and there was no mirror in our bedroom which would have been helpful. Our bathroom had a bath and large shower cubicle which was clean and we had towels/basic toiletries provided. The main issue we had was with the central heating which wasn't working. The host did respond quickly after being called and came to investigate. He had to concede defeat and called a plumber. Fortunately, the hot water was still working and it wasn't particularly cold for the time of year. The host did bring round several electric heaters which were enough for most, but not all, bedrooms. He did bring round a couple more the following day. Despite a visit from the plumber on the second day, the heating was not fixed during our stay. It didn't ruin it but it did mean we had to layer up and move heaters around to make sure everyone's room was warm enough. The lounge was pleasant and nicely furnished. It had a large TV which we didn't use. The large lounge doors/windows had blinds but no curtains (there was a curtain rail) so not sure if this is on the 'to do' list but curtains would have made for a warmer room (and look nicer too). The lounge door was a bit strange in that it had no handle/mechanism so was held closed by a door stop meaning that every time someone left the room, someone in the room had to push the door closed; again, a minor thing but it had a bit of an 'unfinished' feel to it. The house itself is located near the village of Hampton-in-Arden, a very attractive village. We went to the White Lion Inn on the Saturday night for a meal which was delicious. There is a train track running along the back of the property but it didn't cause any issues re noise, nor did the A452 which is a dual carriageway but surprisingly quie

We stayed here after we missed our flight and had to stay near the airport for the next day. The place was exceptional. The reservation receptionist was extremely welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. The facilities were excellent, and clean, refrigerator and kettle in the room with a gym and washing machine facilities in the hotel. The TV section is very good in the room. Check-out is 12 midday which suited us less time waiting in the airport. The airport is only steps away which has grocery shopping M&S, spar and restaurants for quick bites outside the hotel. There is a tram/bus to get into Birmingham city 6kilomteres away. The price is very good and appropriate for the quality of stay.

This was our first time travelling from Birmingham Airport (we usually fly from Gatwick). We always book a hotel stay for the night before our flight and due to the proximity of the Novotel to Birmingham Airport we chose to stay here. Prior to our arrival I had looked at reviews on here and reached out to the hotel requesting interconnecting rooms (we are a family of 6 - 2 adults and 4 under 12s). We were advised that the request had been noted but could not be guaranteed. Thankfully we were allocated connecting rooms with the added bonus of an amazing view! The rooms themselves were well appointed and had ample space. I really liked the mirrored doors in the bathroom! The beds were comfy and the children who slept on the rollaway & sofa bed said they were also comfortable! Rooms were clean. All the staff we encountered were welcoming and friendly - including the gentleman who delivered our room service order (which was well presented and tasty)! At the time of writing bookings are required to dine in the restaurant (there is a menu inside the lifts which is also the room service menu). If you wish to dine inside of the airport (before security) then your options are Greggs,, M&S, Spar & Costa - the restaurants on the first floor are closed - I believe they are expanding the security area. Overall a great stay and should we fly from Birmingham again we would definitely stay again.

Bathroom was kitted out with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the shower area.Wash are has liquid soap supplied. Sleeping area had good electrical socket availability if needed. We had a kettle with tea, coffee, milk and sugar/sweetener. Wardrobes for hanging clothes with extra bedding and a hairdryer if needed. Restaurant staff like the other staff are extremely friendly and even enjoy banter with the customers. We had breakfast which is a buffet style. Food is cooked perfectly and clean with very little grease on the fried items. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. It’s very hard to find fault anyway in the hotel.

We'd booked this hotel through a website, but probably could have got a better deal if we'd gone to Ibis direct. The beauty of the hotel is that you are 2 minutes from Departures at Birmingham Airport. When you've got an early morning flight this is a definite benefit, just to get a little extra sleep before you travel. The room itself was a good size. Plenty of space for us and our two large cases. Room and bathroom were clean as well. Even better, no noise from other rooms came through (OK you will get selfish people making noise down corridors on occasion - not much can be done about that I'm afraid). Went to the bar to have a drink which was fine. There is a place to eat, but we'd eaten before leaving home. Check in and check out was really quick as well.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at The Arden as we we're visiting the NEC which is about a 15 minute walk away. The hotel represents excellent VFM and all the staff were very professional. We had a few drinks in the bar which had a lovely atmosphere and the leather sofa was really comfy after a day walking around the NEC! We then plumped for room service which arrived in good time and both meals were tasty, Cheeseburger for my husband and Gammon, Egg & Chips for myself. It was also really good that the member of staff that delivered our meals brought a card machine which meant we could pay for our dinner there and then, so upon checkout, we just had to drop our room card into the box and leave with nothing further required. We didn't use any of the spa facilities but I saw the pool and it looked very tempting! All in all, we'd definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Perfect base for a one night stop over before an early flight the next day. The food was lovely in the bar and reasonably priced. Walking distance to the airport and car park so location is perfect too! We used the monorail to go to the NEC/resorts world arena area which has shops,cinema,bars and restaurants. Great if you have a bit of time there as the hotel room is tiny but has everything you need.

As soon as you go into the revolving door you are hit by a clean fresh sent. The hotel downstairs feels modern and clean. Check in was quick and easy and we got a free complementary cocktail each as it was our first time staying at Moxy. Our room was brilliant with motion lighting under the bed and switches at the bed side for other soft lights. The view of the lake and fountain was great. Perfect location to the NEC Birmingham and across the lake you have lots of eateries. We would stay here again if ever going to the NEC.

Wow! Is all I can say! We got married at The Manor Hotel in Meriden in December 2022 and it was the perfect day. Liridona Tahiri was our wedding planner. Her responsiveness and attention to detail was excellent. She never felt that any question was too daft or unimportant and always responded to my emails in a timely manner. She was approachable and kind and always had time to listen to any concerns. Because of her our day went really smoothly. All of the staff on the day were so accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure all the wedding party was happy and they had everything they needed. Nothing was too much trouble. I would just like to say, if you are booking your wedding I would 100% recommend the team at The Manor. Our guests are still telling us what a fabulous wedding we had. You can have total confidence that the team at The Manor are on your side. Even when our die-hard guests were reluctant to go to bed at 2am the staff were still lovely about it. Thank you to you all for giving us a day to remember. xx

Lovely grounds, excellent food and stunning customer service. Staying for work with 2 small dogs the staff couldn't do enough to make sure we were happy and well cared for. Everyone we dealt with was a dream and suoer friendly. One waiter even brought a plate of sausage for the dogs at breakfast. Rooms and decor a little dated, bathroom clean but showing signs of age. Bed very comfy and both evening meal and breakfast were delicious. Breakfast set-up is a little odd but not really an issue. Didnt use the spa or pool. Overall I'd happily come back but if you're fussy about aesthetics its probably not for you.

Well located for my business meeting, staff throughout were welciming and friendly. The only very minor issue I had was with the website rather than the staff as I hadn't been directed to book a table for my evening meal and therefore couldn't be accomodated on arrival after a reasonably tiring journey. I don't have issue with the way staff dealt with this but a clear direction on the website could potentially have avoided the issue
