I had the privilege of making use of various B&B’s , Guest houses and hotels during my career. The Bay View Guest house is without doubt one that stands out. Mark was there to welcome US and attent to every small request we had. The place was extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom clean and cozy. The location is very good and the view towards Strand beach area was super. We can recommend this Guest house to anybody looking for something beter than ordinary. Way beter, I might say.

Bay View is a lovely guest house. The hosts are great. We particularly enjoyed the balcony area. I would highly recommend not only for business trips but also for a getaway, and recharge from the hustle and bustle of daily life. They are well priced as well. Will definitely stay here again, I am in Somerset West on business quite often, and this will become my home away from home.

Wonderful accommodation. The manager was attentive and helpful, but not overbearing. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Everything from a hair dryer and extension lead to cold water and milk in the fridge, coffee amenities, soaps and room spray etc. Lovely garden and pool area. Will definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay in Somerset West with a helpful and accommodating host. Room was comfortable and had air conditioning. Lovely view and tea and coffee facilities in the room. WiFi worked well and reliably. Thank you.

Thanks to Mark for another fantastic stay at Bay View. You always make us feel so welcome and the rooms are always so clean and comfortable. It really does feel like home. We look forward to staying with you again next time we visit our family in South Africa!

Wonderful guesthouse. Views to die for. We were a cycling team with a lot of demands, but Mark accommodated each of our requests and bended backwards to make the teams stay bliss. Thank you Mark. You the best.

I spent 5 lovely nights at Bay View and I am extremely impressed with my entire stay. From the warm welcome to the heartfelt goodbye ♥️ everything was just superb. The room was spotless and amenities top notch. The view from the patio was outstanding, making it a pleasant spot to have a glass of wine and watch the sunset in the evenings. I highly recommend it! Thank you so much Mark, I will certainly be back.

My second visit to this lodge and I absolutely love it. The rooms are spacious and have everything you could possibly need. Full DSTV bouquet, swimming pool, bar. Secure parking. Location is central. Host is very friendly and helpful. Thank you Mark!
