Hume Inn Motel Albury CBD

After driving for seven hours with my little dog Lester, I was exhausted when I arrived at The Hume Inn Motel so it was truly wonderful to be greeted so warmly. The check-in was easy and the room was super clean. The air conditioner was fantastic and the bed was very comfortable. I had a brilliant rest and relax before heading off on my journey the next day.

We stayed here for two nights in mid-November 2023 after reading good reviews. Bed was reasonably comfortable and room was clean, albeit needing a facelift. Was expecting a quiet stay as it was opposite the park and on the edge of town. We arrived at our room first night to find next door unit had two bairs of boots on mat outside their door, accompanied by a pair od dicarded socks!!! Local hoons used road at front of motel as a hot rod strip both nights! First night at 2am a couple had a huge swearing fight outside our room and female let off fire extinguisher at person she was arguing with! Someone called cops who turned up 10 mins after they drove off. Second night bus load of people sat outside; loud talking till late, while a bunch of young people had a sort of party, screamed and called out down the other end! Not much sleep was had either night. No water in the pool! Promised free bottle of wine with booking, did not happen! Would have given no stars but for Roberto the chef of pizza restaurant at front of motel and staff who were just lovely Sat night! Very disappointing stay. Never again!

I chose to stay overnight in Albury to give my mother in law a break in our journey. As is general knowledge Albury/Wodonga provides a myriad of accommodation options and as this was just an overnighter while comfort and cleanliness is a must price is important. The Hume Inn ticks all the boxes and the management are professional and friendly. Our room met all our needs and we slept soundly. Thanks for a nice stay and we will certainly look you up should we have another stay. Thanks. P.S. In front of Hume Inn is a great restaurant called Roma. Mmmmmmmm

A lovely little Albury motel. It was very clean and comfortable for a great price. The concierge was friendly and helpful. The motel is situated on a main road so easy to access but with very little road noise. Would highly recommend.

We recently stayed here in a 2 bedroom family suite. The room sizes were quite large which was great. Bathroom was a good size and clean. As an added bonus our room had allocated undercover car parking right at the front door. The kids found the WiFi ok but it did have periods here it seemed to drop in and out. This motel offers good clean well sized rooms at a reasonable price and the host is very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this motel.

We stayed 2 nights in deluxe Queen room. Bed was clean but very hard. Bathroom was clean. But The smell of the room was very musty and carpet was rotten. Breakfast was very simple but edible. Toast was precooked and buttered and cold Won't ever stay there again.
