A lovely hotel. I feel that the swimming pool and gym should be included in the price like all other hotels I’ve stayed.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Lovely peaceful location. Amenities were limited unless you pay extra which is a shame. Breakfast also has extra charges for certain food

Have stayed here many times. Everything fits the bill. Lovely hotel, staff, rooms, spa, food. Enjoyed as usual. All perfect.

Wonderful experience stay at that castle. We had dinner in the courtyard for a very reasonable price consider the food was of great quality. The health club had great facilities including a reasonable sized gym decent sized pool / jacuzzi. We would definitely stay there again as the location was great. The only minor complaint we would have is that the room was a bit cold but it is late January.

It was not made clear at time of booking that breakfast was not included or that there was an additional charge for using the leisure facilities

I liked that you look at the place and think wow its for upper class people but wen we went it was like every one the same no lah de dah people ...it was friendly and everyone the same ...staff were brilliant and could ave a laugh.. . Very helpful ..facilities are great too for an extra £10 a room .so much so boked again 2 weeks later

Great value for money. Good to see that hotels like this still exist! Enjoyed our 1 night stay, and definitely recommend the spa/health club pass!

Stayed on a quiet Sunday night. Went to restaurant without a booking just before 8pm and there was no hassle ordering & the food & service were fab.
Comfy large rooms and good value for money. Also extended check out until midday with no issues.

The hotel in general was okay, the health club was good, however it was not included in the price of the stay and an additional cost of £10 was charged for the use of this on arrival, this would have been good to know
