This gem in the center of the city is an Oasis of relaxation and chill nestled within a Heritage Hotel . Comfortable and peaceful with everything you need. My partner and I had a too-short staycation there and we were beyond pleased . Great for business, couples or families .

We tried the Christmas brunch at the restaurant and it was a great experience. Wide and unique variety of food from Caviar, grilled lobster, raw seafood, sashimi & sushi and many more. Service was excellent as the staffs are attentive and helpful. I would recommend this place for family as they have outdoor space that is kids friendly.

Beautiful classic Indonesian hotel. Great atmosphere, great rooms. Location is close to Kemang with all its cafes and restaurants. But the most impressive characteristic is the always friendly and welcoming staff. Mr. Basly and colleagues that you some much again. See you soon again.

Happened to stay at The Dharmawangsa at the very last minute. I was booked earlier at another place and happened to cancel it due to change in dates. I am happy this happened. Else I would have missed out on my outstanding experience at this lovely hotel. I usually do not write reviews when on business trip, but the experience here has been one great one. The place is so well planed and laid out, great hotel set up and more importantly... what makes a great set up are it people. It all started with Lucky at the time of check in. I told him that. I was lucky to have Lucky welcome me :-) . Guess that describes Lucky's role. Then had to skep breakfast the next day as I had early morning meetings. But yesterday was a national holiday here in Jakarta, so had a relaxed day and start. And boom... breakfast... so meticulously planned ... and again great with Nisa taking care of me. I simple did not have to get up to serve the next course... thank you Nisa. Did not have the chance to meet house keeping, but the rooms were squeaky clean when I get back. All in all.... great to have stayed here. Thank you making this stay memorable... continue with the hospitality and guests will automatically flow in...

We had a delightful 1-night stay at the Dharmawangsa. A hotel in name, the Dharmwangsa is a veritable institution that upholds Indonesian culture, collaborates with local craftsmen and farmers, and goes the extra mile to ensure every guest has a meaningful time. We were incredibly lucky to cross paths with Bpak Angga, who cared for our family like relatives, even offering a high quality art book, wayangs, and late check out. We felt extremely fortunate to connect with him and learn more about the hotel and its philosophy. Bpak Basly was there to welcome us. A true gentleman, he ensured the smoothest check-in, offered us an upgrade, and answered all our questions with extreme grace. Rona and Diah were incredibly helpful in ensuring we enjoyed our room and even brought up a special table, a drawing books and pens for our daughter. The Dharmawangsa is one in a million places!

Nice experience with Dharmawangsa! We took some dinner in Indonesian fusion menu from famous chef in town. Friendly & well-educated staff, perfect hospitality & service. Great vibes of Nusantara of Indonesia, great cleanliness. Definitely will come back here again!

We had a most enjoyable stay! The unique and intimate ambiance reflecting Indonesia's culture and history, the warm and helpful hospitality, the spacious and well appointed rooms, the exuberant breakfast and the well designed swimming pool in a natural environment. Two suggestions:stronger reading lights in the room and access to a tv channel covering atp tennis. When in Jakarta again we will certainly revisit.

Hotel has class and provides excellent service. I travel the world but this is my favorite hotel. Excellence in a warm atmosphere.
