Nagles Bar & Guest Accommodation

We were just passing through and stopped in for lunch without any expectations. Wow, what a wonderful surprise! Probably the best meal we had in Ireland. The roast beef was so tinder that it fell off my fork and the salmon salad was excellent.

One of the best meals we have had in Ireland! Salmon on homemade baked brown soda bread with spinach mozzarella and mayo; A rich Guinness type stew; or some of the tenderest roast beef you will ever have complete with Yorkshire pudding. A great meal for a coolish, windy day. The owners/staff were so friendly and the place was clean and inviting. It was a fantastic lunch spot for some hungry travelers!

Mysef and a group of work colleagues went for some lunch in Nagles today.. From start to finish the service was impeccable, I dealt with Geraldine who went above and beyond by simply forwarding the menu a day prior to our booking so we could had our food pre ordered as we only had one hour to dine .. we arrived and our food was on the table in minutes! And so so delicious.. Geraldine and another lady that served us made sure we had everything we needed and continuously checked in on us to make sure everything was ok. Compliments to the chef also! The food was so good and the environment itself was really warm comfortable and welcoming.. Thanks again from all of us @ Skoda … :)

Dropped into Nagles yesterday evening and whilst staff were preparing for a very busy evening with a 21st birthday - the service was excellent. The manager and her staff couldnt do enough for us - all very attentive and friendly and best of all, the food was outstanding - all in all, a very enjoyable experience

Was heading to Limerick from Wexford, when we passed through the lovely village of Kilsheelan on Saturday afternoon. We saw Nagles Bar on entering the village & decided to stop. What a gem. Had fabulous roast beef & Pavlova. Lovely friendly staff, will definitely be stopping here again.

Often eat here. Food was always great but in recent months to a year food servings have decreased alot. I just have one issue really, please use Ciabatta for the steak sandwich, a bread roll just ruins the dish. Desserts are fab tho and staff always polite except for one older lady who just looks disinterested. Keep up the good work.

Can't actually comment on the food as we didn't eat, we didn't eat as we never ordered, we didn't order as we never got served! We waited 15 minutes and nobody came to us. My husband asked if we could have menus and the woman told him they are there, as she passed them, and he got them himself, not a problem at all. After we waited he went to the bar to order and again the same woman told him to "sit down and someone would take your order" so he did just that and we waited and waited, watched staff talking behind the bar, coming and going and nobody cane to take our order. So we left. The ladies mannerisms wasn't the best and her snapping when he tried to order at the bar was a little surprising, we made allowances as it was a Sunday and lunchtime, however the place was busy but not full. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet anyone before we left to complain, hence the review.

Where do I start ... This place is just amazing. From the minute we arrived right up until we left we treated so well.. The rooms are very spacious, they are basic but we only slept in them.. The entire staff were attentive to our every need and it is very evident the staff have respect for Ross and his team.. We ate both in the evening and morning time and it yo was amazing each of us in the group all ordered something different and all was the same very good standard. We cannot wait for our return visit which won't be far away. Ross and your team thank you for everything you have done for Lee Colette and Fíadh on her special day.

Amazing food 😋 great staff gd price and value for money stopped here last year will always stop here now lovely pub in kilsheelan highly recommend a must visit myself and my fiancee loved it see you next year
