The room itself was perfect bed was comfortable etc, perfect working shower etc. Customer service a lot to be desired. I wanted to do an early check in. I was sent to a room that was not fully serviced. I was going out anyway even though the guy who checked me in did offer to move me to another room. So I was happy to stay in that room as long as it was serviced once I returned. When I returned it was in the same state. The duty manager taking over give him his dues apologised and got me moved to a prepared room. Went for dinner three nights of my four night stay. They didn't have everything on the menu each night. The last night the duty floor manager he was also on Friday morning breakfast, the chairs and tables in the dining room had more personality. The Tuesday and Wednesday evening duty manager was pleasant and the ond who sorted out the room issue for me top marks for him. The young guy cooking the breakfasts on Thursday and Friday was probably the most friendliest staff member out of all. Costs nothing to smile and say goodmorning to customers and ask if theyve a busy day ahead, a lot of staff could learn from this. The general manager I think did to be fair if he served you. Would I go back, maybe for room only definitely. I know they class themselves as a budget hotel, nut higher end budget, budget or top class five star I would still expect friendly customer service.
