Nakai Beach Homestay

It felt like home. The owner is there with his team to offer a warm, hospitality that is so welcoming. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. The rooms are super comfy well decorated and the bedding so luxurious. Food was incredible too. Cannot recommend this place enough!

The pictures do not do it justice, this was fantastic. Paulo is a magnificent host and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable, Breakfast was a simple matter with 3 items made to perfection. The room was a work of art and so was the rest of the home. Although Nakai is a home stay it really is a high end lodge, with home comforts and feel. We loved it, so will you.

I was looking for a couple days of sun, waves and beauty with no disturbances. I got it all at Nakai! Its definitely on my list of getaways to visit again. The views are breathtaking and the design of the space is meditative.

A tropical paradise offering all you would expect from a homestay, except, it is so much more. This is tranquility. It speaks to all of the senses. It is rare to find something so eclectic that anybody who visit can leave with an immediate lingering to come back. Breakfasts are exceptional offering 3 different options which in my book reach the highest of expectations. Service is friendly, yet guarantee you your privacy. Pool lazing is comfortable and inviting. Rooms are exceptionally clean, offers all you would expect in the most luxurious interior one could wish for. Grant and Paulo leaves no stone unturned to make your stay memorable for the right reasons. We will be back, frequently, we have been and never get disappointed or bored. Staying at Nakai for me personally was a restorative and pumpering space with attention to a nourishing plant base breakfast. Nakai gave me more than just space to unwind, but it allows me to integrated some of 2023 highly challenging experiences. I Love Nakai's inspiration words: where Bliss finds you. Many of us working really hard to find a sense of Bliss, ananda,in our lives and here at Nakai you only allow bliss, ananad to find you. So simple, so easy and yet deeply profound. Thank you Paulo from the depth of my heart for an exra ordinary care( as Paulo goes beyond giving you an excellent service if you just ask). I am deeeply grateful for Ana and the other ladies, the staff at Nkai, who met me with patience preparing my breakfast to my liking. Nakai as a homestay beach is a pleasure – an exquisite design to the eye, that situated by softly crashing waves to soothe anyone soul. And for those who are looking to strengthen their physical body, i highly recommend to attend one of Paulo's yoga classes (or more than jut one) which is on Nakai's premises. Anyone want a special dream stay where the surroundings are spectacular, the people are welcoming and kind, the interior is gorgeous, the view is off the charts, the comfort is absolute and the food is delicious? The place is NAKAI, at Trafalgar. I have spent time there twice now. Once in April 2023 and once in May 2023, and trust me, I am going back there again. Regularly. This was the most exceptional 3 day stay,it felt like 3 weeks of relaxation in the most exotic tropical surroundings. The decor was spectacular as only owner Grant Horak can produce and the rooms and staff on another level of excellence.I felt spoilt ,extremely well fed and my mindset was tranquil and beautiful.

The most magical experience in KZN, Nakai is a must to experience! We were greeted with homemade ice tea, the hosts were absolutely lovely and welcoming! The room, décor and views were an absolute luxury. The location is beautiful and tropical with a private access through the greenery to the beach. I joined one of the yoga classes that was offered, which was held in their beautiful yoga studio overlooking a garden. Great breakfast variety was offered, and of lovely quality. I felt like i was in Bali and cannot wait to visit again.
